I've suffered from the same thing. I used a wrist band moved up to below the elbow for support but ultimately ended up taking the ball cleaner giving less jarring of the elbow and this cleared it up

tlesirge, search for and try exercises for tennis elbow and golfer's elbow; have a look at trying KT tape (https://www.kttape.com/how-to-apply-kt-tape/); and try ice, heat ointments, and over the counter anti-inflammatory meds. If none of this helps then your doctor may recommend a cortisone injection to reduce the inflammation. Best Wishes.

Ice, stretching and KT tape worked wonders for me. I also went to putting SensiCore inserts in my iron shafts. Graphite shafts may also help. There are fantastic options available.
