  1. My name is Gary, and I come from a country bountiful with golf courses, in fact too many for the population, however golfers here never complain about that problem. Green fees and club membership is very reasonably priced compared to some overseas fees. And where am I ?, it's called New Zealand. I have followed My Golf Spy for years enjoying their comparisons of clubs and golf balls. Having played for 49 years I have tried many different sets of clubs and to date my favourites are the Mizuno and my current, never leave my side, set of XXIO's. New to the market in the USA, I personally recommend these for your 12 to 36 handicapper. They are not cheap by any means but are the top of the range from the Dunlop stable who also produce Cleaveland and Srixon clubs. I have yet to try Ping but I would make my choice from one of these three brands. There is more to golf than just clubs to help the average golfer enjoy his weekend. I'm referring to the one thing some of us are unable to keep for very long. That's the golf ball as you watch it sail over the fence or go for a swim. I have been trying out the Srixon Ulti Soft Feel against the Srixon Soft Feel. Both are excellent and very affordable golf balls. I will be discussing this in next weeks news letter and offering the pro's and con's of these two balls around the course.
