  1. I am a big fan of wearable Golf GPS devices, but my overall experience with them has not been great. The majority of them rely on that recessed 4 pin connecter for syncing and charging, and that is where I always had the problem. After about 1 season, they would stop syncing and charging, and then I could get maybe another 18 months out of them by constantly cleaning the port and buying new cables before giving up.  I bought the little plastic port covers to keep dirt and perspiration out, but they didn't help. I looked at all of them, and this seems to be the industry standard. (including Tag Heuer) I finally but the Samsung Golf edition which has magnetic charging and blue tooth syncing, and I couldn't be happier.

  2. Sadly, I am old enough to remember when Maxfli balls were highly regarded, and played by tour pros such as Fred Couples. At that time, the Maxfli red dot  was one of the 3 balls balls that used to rotate through my bag. The other 2 being Titleist and Spalding Tour Edition. (favored by Greg Norman) After TaylorMade purchased them, TaylorMade rebranded the higher end balls with the Taylormade name, and used the Maxfli name only on the low priced distance balls. It's nice to see Ed Stack and Dick's Sporting Goods resurrect a brand that I grew up with. My current ball of choice is the Vice Pro, but whenever they are out of stock, or my shipment is taking longer than normal to arrive, I will swing by Dick's Sporting Goods and pick up some Maxfli Tour's.
