  1. I can't say if the holes add any performance. But, having gamed the older Wilson C200 irons for the past 2 years, I can say undeniably that the power holes do not gather any dirt whatsoever. The C200 have holes around the entire boundary of the iron, which is a bit unsightly at address. To that end, I just ordered a set of the D7 forged irons, and I'm very much looking forward to a clean top-line and the performance gains. Hope that helps, Max
