Honestly, I think I hit about two balls with it. I bought it for the shaft for my PXG 0211 Hybrid that I liked better.

I've never really hit a 3 iron but I would say that's probably about right. I play my hybrid at 20 degrees and it gaps above a 22 degree Cobra Utility for me.
