  5. Really excited for this. Im going to be upgrading my driver for next golf season (currently swinging Taylormade Aeroburner) Would love to test out some of the new driver tech out there before pulling the trigger.
  6. This problem always annoyed me when trying to get clubs in and out of the bag. I started researching bags with club management and found the never looz golf bag. https://www.nevrlooz.com its certainly more expensive than buying dividers but it is the highest quality bag I have ever owned. I’ve had it close to 5 years and all of the zippers and pockets are still in perfect condition, no tears, no fading. It’s my favorite piece of golf equipment. also if you are on a budget you can buy bag clips that would do a similar job, but those are more for keeping your clubs still rather than helping get them in and out
  7. I’m in. Looking to replace driver soon and would love to swing this one. More speed is always good right?
  8. We did one of these in our patio area. Converted a large flowerbed, Wedge shape with straight edges both 20 ft long, ~315 square ft. we did this as more of a play area for my son and I decided to add a couple putting cups for myself. It is right next to the house so I don't use it for approach shots. similar to you I was wanting something budget friendly because the primary use isn't even for golf. I agree with some of the other people on here, I would recommend something larger. You will be surprised how small it feels, I think you will be happy you chose to go bigger if you do. Also it would be easier to do it now rather than expand later. I tilled up the ground then raked it smooth. Added several bags of sand to make up the base, rock would be better, I think pros use AB3 for putting green base. Borrowed my neighbors plate compactor and packed everything down good, wetting with a hose between rounds. next I cut in the cups I did two, three would be good for my size green but I also dug in a sandbox in the corner. Rolled out the putting surface, Just your basic green outdoor turf carpet like you have on mini golf courses. I had a couple seams so I used seam tape underneath. Finally I used u-shaped landscaping stakes to secure the carpet around the edges and on the seams. The stakes showed up too much on the carpet because the turf is short (<1/4 inch), with longer turf you can hide your stakes. I cut the stakes so they were just straight with a small hook at the end. This made them much easier to hide. After this you could infill with sand or colored rubber infill, I decided against this because I felt the sand would be visible. I haven't had any issues with movement. However the turf grain all goes one direction so putting against it is a little tough. Brushing in infill would hold up the grass blades so the grain would be more even. We had some storm damage to our house last year and my green was punctured so I will be replacing it here shortly. I plan on expanding the surface and using longer turf around the edges and on one side for a kids/chipping area. Then putting surface around 10x10. Here are some before and after pics, I'll add the new and improved version once it is finished.

  10. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I've been playing golf for around 10 years. This is the first year I have decided to keep an actual handicap but typically I shoot between 14-18 over par and slightly better at a couple courses near me that I play the most, more like 10-14 over What do you love about golf? I love most things about golf, but mainly the challenge and the constant opportunity to improve What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I don't know anyone else on golfspy. I have been getting golfspy emails for a while now and I want to participate in more forums to be eligible for testing and contests. Where are you from? What is your home course? I am from liberal Missouri, the course I play the most is located in Carthage MO What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? The best thing about golf in my region is that there are a number of nice courses around that are affordable as well as some really nice courses within a couple hours, Branson MO/Rogers AR. The worst thing about golf is there is not an abundance of golf retail in my area or places to buy equipment, apparel, or club/ball fitting services What do you do for a living? I work in IT How’d you pick your user name? It is just my name
  11. Eli short joplin MO iphone 12 I have access to both indoor and outdoor practice facilities and will likely use both. Would use a net both indoors and out but would primarily test outdoors without a net I can also test with an iPad Pro. Will likely try it to see any differences between phone and iPad.
