  1. @WildThing, thanks for all the great info. I'll be sure to watch the videos and to the extent I have time explore the perfect gold swing mechanics. Also, since the last time I checked in over here I saw another instructor (on YouTube, of course) that recommended narrowing your stance, to about 18". Secondly he said lifting you toes and wiggling them during your setup. If you have to shift your weight to your heels to do that, then you have too much weight on your toes. I haven't got to try any of that yet, but setup corrections are much easier than swing corrections, so I do have some hope from feeling the difference "shadow swinging "
  2. Hey Y'all, Recently I had been playing really well, a handful of bogeys in a round mixed in with 2-3 birdies, life on the links was good. But alas, this is golf and nothing can stay good for too long. An old friend came back into my swing, the fast and early hip rotation. It almost like the hips just fire right when I get to the top of my back swing, being completely finished with their job before my arms have dropped more than a few inches. Obviously, there is no room for my arms to drop, shallow and "travel down first base line", so over the top they go. The is a multitude of crazy looking shots you can hit that way incase your interested, most if them result in highly undesirable ball flight, be warned. Now my question, who else suffers the insufferable aliment? And what drills help you get back in sync? Right now I'm focusing on my butt "staying against the wall" or moving slightly away from thr ball even, as well as rolling my right foot towards the left as I begin my down swing and thats has really got my irons and approach shots back on track, but thr Driver still is a risky stick! Thanks!
  3. I think all the cool bags and collectible stuff is great, and the trip idea, maybe to a PGA event with special tickets, or a trip to HH or Bandon for a 3 day weekend with say +3 golfers would make it awesome!
