My problem is fit. Hard to find golf shoes sold in widths. Everything the ProShop & local sports store stock reg width. Hope they offer a fitting system, cuz I believe that’s one of Squairz selling points.

Yep. I need an extra wide as well, and struggle to find it most of the time.  I don't really see any mention of extra wide on their website, I think I've looked before.

My list of shoe preferences in order:

    Must fit well (extra wide)

    Must be waterproof

Must have enough cushioning to make walking comfortable

I prefer BOA laces, so I can adjust on the fly

I prefer them not to look stupid (but could care less if they look "cool")

  2. I think the handicap requirement is probably fair.  I think the real difference between premium golf balls and others is the ability to put spin on the shorter and non-full shots, like hitting that punch that hops and stops, or hitting a spinning chip that does the same and won’t roll out.  And honestly, those types of shots are not in the arsenal of most higher handicap golfers.  I’m sure there’s exceptions, but as a general rule I think it’s a reasonable statement.

Most balls will give reasonable spin on full shots and help keep spin lower on drivers.  NOT all balls will spin and react on the non-full stuff.  At least, that’s my experience.
