I used to have a Michell machine that looked the same. Was a big help in getting my wedges where I wanted them to be. Helped fill all my distance gaps.

I use a large glove and switched to midsize over 15 years ago after continuously wearing out the heel/palms of my glove with standard size GP tour velvet. I was watching a video of my swing and saw that I was releasing and regripping the club at the top of my backswing with the smaller grips which caused all sorts of issues - and rubbing on the heel of my hand. With the Midsize grips it stays in my fingers better and stops the “regripping”. As I’m getting older and some weakness is creeping into my hands, I’m considering moving up another size to help solidify my grip at the top.
