  1. This was all SUPER helpful (even the “swing harder” advice)! Going to try out all these tips one at a time, and will come back with some progress and videos. You all are awesome!
  2. Here are my averages for 14 drives. Nothing I do seems to fix this slice I’m dealing with. Any tips would be great appreciated.
  3. Welcome! Great list of courses there — I’m going to Pinehurst next month and couldn’t be more excited.
  4. I’m very excited to be playing Pinehurst next month! Playing 8, 4, and 2. This is my first time making a trip to Pinehurst and would really appreciate any advice/tips for how to make the most of it. Thanks in advance!
  5. Love the T — not quite good enough to anything but look at them though lol
  6. Thanks! I have a close friend in Scituate, so I’ve played Widow’s Walk a bunch with him. I try to get out to Red Tail once a year. I’ve played Granite Links a couple of times, but usually end up playing George Wright.
  7. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I’ve been playing off and on for about 8 years now, but started playing seriously about 2 years ago. I recently moved into an apartment that has a golf simulator and have been working hard to improve my game. I’m sitting around a 15 handicap now. What do you love about golf? I served in the Army for a long time, and golf has become a great way for me to spend time with a couple of guys I served with. It’s great to get outside, ignore the stressors of everyday life for a bit, and have some friendly competition. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? Found MGS while looking for some equipment reviews and found what seems like a pretty welcoming and thoughtful community, so I figured I’d stay! Where are you from? What is your home course? Born and raised in Boston and just recently moved back a couple of years ago. I don’t have a home course per see, but play many courses in the area. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Well, there’s the winter. And we don’t have many options for cheaper rounds. What do you do for a living? I finished grad school a couple years ago and I’m now working as a consultant. How’d you pick your user name? I love a good pun.
