Hey all, Figured I would ask the forum for some advice as i'm betting there are plenty of people on here who have either done it themselves or have paid to have it done. I am currently gaming a split set of Nike VR TW irons. 3-6 in the split cavity, and 7-P in the Muscle Back, so 8 clubs total. I am in love with them, but, they were second hand when i purchased them, and obviously they have gotten more wear and tear over the last 3 years since I've been gaming them. I reached out to a company (wont name them) via instagram, about refinishing the set. I don't want new shafts or grips on the clubs, so it would be just club head restoration, new ferrules, new paint fill, and I was considering copper plating them. Total cost and breakdown including return shipping is: $935 Remove Club heads/Ferrules/Paint Clean and prep shafts Strip Club heads to Raw. Plate Copper Install Paint Fill/New Ferrules/Club heads I guess my questions are three fold. 1) Good deal? 2) Is refinishing/restoring worth the money 3) Any other vendors I should be considering

I am an acknowledged Rory fanboy... He's grew up one town over from me back home and i back him every single major.... But today, watching him play with Scottie and Xander and comparing the 3 of them...... UGHHHHHHH IMO Rory needs to take a serious look at the current team and set up he has. Yes, he's his mate, and I commend the loyalty, BUT Rory is 34... he has maybe 6 years left where you are going to assume he is top 3-5 in the world level competitive? if Harry has made 5% (its more i'm sure for Tour Wins or FEDEX Cups etc) base off of all tournament winnings over the last 7 years, he's a millionaire. Time to pick up the phone to Bones or someone like Bones who will reign him in when its needed and let him loose when appropriate. LIKE ON 11 - Gusting wind, and he takes on that pin. Coaching wise, i'm watching the masters feed on the app, but mates back home are saying that Butch Harmon was outwardly questioning his shot selection on commentary for Sky Sports in the UK? Yeah i thought the same thing..... why no oreo towel to match the oreo bag.... i'm still looking around. I've got a SWAG headcover for my driver, but obviously, the one that might match the bag is sold out...

I love it. i've changed jobs recently too so i'm trying to walk more than cart (profile photo is of me slinging it) and I invested in a push cart for the more hilly courses that I play, but honestly whether its slinging it, pushing it, or carting with it, its just a fantastic piece of kit. My only gripe.... I need to get a golf towel that compliments it. my blue and neon green ones matched my old taylormade one really well, buttttttt.... lol its only money right

Have to agree with you here! My wife bought me the ANYDAY bag (in oreo) and got a personalization done for me. I adore it. Yes, the full side pocket is missing, but, i'll be honest, I don't notice it. you just have to actually pack your rain jacket, versus stuffing it in there but honestly ive found there is more than enough room for everything you could need. That, coupled with the sheer number of comments I get about it. Well worth the price, and with this level of discount.... Yeah no brainer for me.
