  1. Ready for everything in the bag including the bag; except the putter, unless I find a new putter that works well! Would like to have a club fitting too.
  2. Whaaat? You’re supposed to retire golf balls on purpose? That’s a new one for me!!
  3. Damascus forged would be amazing! Even though I like the mallet putters, I think this calls for a deep blade design. I’m not if it’s possible, but I would treat the process like what can be done with a damascus knife, only in reverse. The face would be as soft as possible with progressive hardening to the spine, or back of the blade. It would be interesting to test what that would feel like at impact. The target would be to make the feel at impact similar putters with face inserts, without the insert. It wouldn’t be quite as soft obviously, but it might be enough to change the feel. It could also have hidden weights somehow, or at least machined so tight it would be very hard to see them. Nobody would know why it felt so cool!! Good luck and have fun with it!
  4. Wow, from the photos it seems like a lot of material to get through to reach the end size! Hahaha just kidding. Thats really cool!!
  5. Racing, of many forms, has been primary. Thanks to my father, it began at age 4 with motorcycles. First win, and trophy, by age 5 and that was it I was hooked. I went on to race many forms of motorcycles, like many other posts listed here, and then switched to auto racing when physically I couldn’t compete at the level I wanted on bikes. Also had a few years mountain biking and road racing bicycles, that began as an effort to stay in shape for auto racing. Unfortunately I have a tendency to have intense focus with activities I get interested in, so ended up getting very involved racing pedal bikes for a period. I’ve enjoyed many forms of auto racing through the years, and am now looking for a retirement gig! A family member asked me to golf one day a couple of years ago, and that’s my new focus. So far I’ve been trying to golf for fun and relaxation, but that likely won’t last for long. If the past is any indication it won’t be long before every minute of the day is spent working to improve my game
