I am not a gear head. Help me out here. Wouldn't shortening the shaft also affect the lie angle .the loft of the club? How would that work? Would that require some adjustment to the adjustable head, if the club has that feature?

Checked with Edwin Watts manager, a friend of mine. He says yes, at least as to profile of the shaft as a good starting point. Thanks to all who responded.

Does the Mizuno shaft optimizer work for clubs other than Mizunos? Thanks.
