Anyone else struggling with cracked driver faces?
Siilky replied to Marshmac's topic in General Equipment Talk
Cracked my sim 2 ti 3 wood face. I contacted Taylormade and they sent me a replacement head for free. They actually upgraded me to a stealth plus!! It’s worth contacting the manufacturer, they didn’t ask any questions on warranty or proof besides pictures of the head -
I was shopping for a UW to fill the gap in my bag between 3w and 4i. Got a UW for an absolute steal on FB market place. But came with a RDX black 6.0 70g. Anyone with this club have a recommendation for one to replace it with? I have Kai’li blue 70x in 3 wood, shouldn’t I be getting an 80g shaft?

Just got into walking recently and really enjoy it as long as the course isn’t too busy. Getting some exercise walking up and down hill is great and I feel like keeping the heart rate up allows me to play better! maybe it’s also the fear of having to chase down a bad drive in the next fairway lol

There’s a local guy who seems to be very professional. Says hell spine align and adjust swing weight based on fitting. Gonna be about 55 a club. Seems worth it and trust worthy I like to DYI, i always done my own grips but this seems like too much to do it comfortably

Thank you, happy to be apart -
Knew about lead tape but didn’t think of that as a tester. Gonna experiment with it next time I’m hitting. Good idea

I really do need to get some hard numbers with these new clubs. I do like my decent angle im getting, I prefer little rollout. My yardages have always been consistent just last two rounds I was sailing a few that just felt way off. Like my 8 sailing a 165 green by a good ten yards. Maybe I just need to adjust my game in windy conditions more. - Or made I’m just looking for an excuse to satisfy my heavy golf addiction lol My set breaks after 7i. I have Pw-7 in apex tcb and 6-4 in p770 with loft adjusted. The tabs have kbs tour v 120 and longer iron have the kbs tour 130. The heads are gorgeous and near mint don’t know if having the different shafts are throwing me off a bit. Where you gonna try to swap that 6i yourself or have someone else do it?

Replaced my starter set this year with a combo set. Only problem is I have 2 different shafts half way thru the irons. Want to get them all the same for consistency, plus I’m hitting my scoring irons really high and getting punished on a windy day. But I’ve heard many horror stories with balancing, swing weight, etc. I love the heads I got and plan on keeping them a long time. For the price it costs just curious if it’s a bad idea to open that can of worms?

What Golf Ball Are You Playing In 2024?
Siilky replied to GolfSpy_APH's topic in Golf Balls/Shafts/Grips
Boring but Pro v1x. Perfect feeling ball to me. Usually alternate between them and CSX for the triple track. Gonna start drawing my own on the Titleist Wanna try the new chrome tour x at some point this year -
Bought 2 dozen off FBMP last year for $15 bucks. Could see why the guy was unloading them. Not to mention he red vivid was harder to spot on the course than a standard white

Bridgestone Tour B-RXS mindset review
Siilky replied to arodrig29's topic in Golf Balls/Shafts/Grips
Bridgestone makes balls and don’t feel like they don’t get the credit they deserve. I went for the BXS all last year and really liked them. Started playing with firmer feeling balls this year with prov1x and csx. Love extra spin Curious to hear feedback on the mindset balls -
