  1. Like the title says, do you roll your wrists back so the back of your lead hand is facing the sky? Or,do you tend to not roll them so that the back of your lead hand faces forward? At 64 I don't take a big full bs any more, when my left arm is parallel to the ground is about the extent of my suppleness. I have a much higher chance of hitting the center of the face by keeping the back of my hand facing forward.
  2. I just watched Morikawa make what should be an extremely hard putt to make on number twelve. (I think) Do you think Scottie says anything?? Or when they pull off an awesome approach shot, etc.
  3. Very nice, I'm in central Wisconsin so can feel for you with the long off season. How tall is the ceiling? Heated and air conditioned?
  4. On Black Friday last year, I bought a Garmin S12 watch for $129 and a Nikon 50I rangefinder for $199. I use the watch for quick checks and pull out the Nikon when elevation is in play. I enjoy the easily used technology of both.
  5. I played Bullseye a couple of weeks ago. Very nice course with a great layout. No two holes are the same, fairly wide fairways. The carts have gps. I live five minutes from here. Tri-city is a fun little course just across the road from Bullseye. Smallish elevated greens, very reasonably priced. I play this one a lot.
  6. Interesting comments, I ask this because my frequent golf partner who hits a draw where I hit a fade tells me that a draw has forward spin when it hits the ground where the fade has a backwards spin. It makes sense that both have back spin in the air.
  7. All things being equal, amount of spin, distance off center, etc. For a righty does a draw versus a fade roll farther? Does a fade have backwards spin versus a draw having forward spin or do they both have forward spin? My best drives have a slight fade and I rarely hit a draw.
  8. We are rooting for Scottie to finish 11 under here.
  9. I'm all over the map. Hit Q star tours today, trying ERC soft tomorrow. Tried new AVX a couple weeks ago. Started the year hitting ProV's. Still have XV divides to try.
  10. My kids are 36 and 34. So I basically took 25 years off from golf. Lack of totally free time, lack of money, and generally no interest as being involved in the kids lives was much more rewarding. If I could go back I'd do the same. Life is great now, kids are married with their own kids. Me and the wife hit the course today, I'm going with friends tomorrow. Granddaughter is visiting tomorrow for five days. Did I mention that life is great?
