Topper's Achievements

  1. No! I learned that lesson the hard way becoming convinced the "$350 driver shaft which happens to be on sale" was perfect for my swing speed, needed kick point, firmer feel near the hosel, blah, blah, blah. I went through the virtual fitting and ended up falling for the banana in the tailpipe. I will never buy another shaft without seeing the ball flight outdoors on a grass range.
  2. 1. What will the Cut Number Will Be: +2 2. What will the scoring average be for the entire field on the Final Round Sunday? Please enter an actual score such as 72.1 (not a score relative to par): 73.6
  3. My biggest mistake was wasting too much time not admitting I made a mistake. It took 5 years to admit I've lost clubhead speed before getting tested and making shaft changes. I've purchased too many new drivers with stiff shafts thinking my ability outweighed my physical state. In fact, I made the mistake thinking a softer shaft wasn't "cool" enough for my bag. On to putters... Lord, way too many putters searching for a miracle. In the end, I finally admitted I couldn't keep my coveted blade putters online nearly as easily as today's balanced mallet putters. So, I'm likely fairly typical wasting money on the new shiny toys without getting properly fitted for equipment I really need to keep my game solid.
