I've enjoyed my Jones Trouper R bag since I got on June 1.
I've always wanted a light-colored bag, but was afraid that it would get dirty here in the desert with the wind, dust, mud and goose poop around, but it has held up very nicely! It looks just as good now as when it was new. I don't carry it much on the course; only a few times including yesterday for 9-holes. However, it is great for carrying to/from the car to the course practice area. It's light and balances well. I'm not a big fan of pockets as they tend to fill up with lots of stuff and the bag gets heavy quickly. This bag has just enough for the necessities and I have avoided overloading it.
It gets used mostly on the course power carts since my wife and I ride mostly. It can be a struggle with the midsize grips getting tangled, but when riding I put my putter between the bag and the cart strap and that helps a lot. I have used it on my Sun Mountain original Microcart and it doesn't ride well. I may look for a different push cart that fits the bag better, but this cart is still in decent shape so I hate to get ride of it.
I would definitely buy this bag again, and I am looking forward to taking it on our golf trip to Palm Springs this winter.
