  1. Yeah... being in South Africa makes that difficult. I will be returning to the US in April
  2. In all honesty... my current stable job. I can't quit a stable well paying job to pursue this.. hence was trying to find a buyer/licensor,
  3. Obviously no details were provided to them. I was told one can't/shouldn't do that because it would automatically get rejected for legal reasons. I simply provided them the exact info I stated in my original post here. That it was a training aid, and that I had all those things listed in points 1-4
  4. Thank you for your response. It doesn't have to be an OEM. LAB would be a perfect partner. So would AimPoint, or even SKLZ. I sent LAB and SKLZ a message. LAB CS said they would forward it, but never heard anything back. SKLZ never replied to my message. Every OEM I contacted through their contact page sent a message back simply stating that they do not take unsolicited product requests.
  5. Hi All. I have a training aid I have invented that I believe is quite revolutionary and I expect will have significant tour usage, since it will give any user that uses it a competitive advantage. Some general details which may influence your responses: 1) I have a comprehensive provisional patent filed. 2) I have a fully fledged product proposal with cost and profit analysis. 3) I have a product one-page 4) I have a fully working prototype I do not want to violate any promotion/solicitation rules. Hence no product name, websites or any product details/info has been stated/provided. I am am simply looking for information on the best way to approach OEM's, since they all have bans on unsolicited product proposals. I realize it is a training aid, and OEM's don't sell training aids. But in all honesty, the aid could significantly impact the sales of clubs in the area it is designed/intended to be used with. I have so much confidence in my product... but I don't have the contacts to make it happen. All the elite amateurs I have shown it to here in South Africa have been very impressed. If I were in the USA, I would make an effort to go to the PGA show, but in all honesty, I don't know how I would set up meetings with OEM's or present it. Your help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  6. OK. I know it is a day late, but have not had much time to work on the logic in the evenings lately. MANY late night work hours, since we just shipped our game, and live server support is constant. A link to the google sheet showing the rankings data is attached. 7. Anyone perhaps know what the stock weights are for the SIM (NOT Max) driver are? I asked on TM web-site... and 2 CS reps gave me 2 different answers. Thanks.
  8. One of the good things about the P790 is the fact that they don't get bag chatter. I was wondering if anyone knew if the P770 body construction was of the same material, or if they are indeed a forged softer body?
  9. This is not meant to be a bashing thread. It is actually a serious question. It goes to show the influence of redesigning your site. 1) I go allllllll the way back to GolfOpinions.com. It was the second influential golf forum, and the one that spawned BombSquadGolf, and GolfWRX. After GO redesigned it's site... it was never the same, and eventually disappeared into oblivion. I have noticed a substantial decrease in active viewing on WRX since their redesign. I have also noticed a "Old format coming back" sign that just keeps changing months. It was supposed to have returned 6 months ago. 2) But besides the forums... you don't see any mention of the site in publications or news anymore. You see a lot of MGS mentions. 3) They don't do any informative articles. Everything published is literally advertising for new releases. 4) Nobody there seems to "care" anymore. There just seems to be no effort put in. No drive from those that run it. They really have lost their edge. I am not privy to internet traffic numbers but I would think that MGS has closed the gap on WRX. I am going to compare this to Shiels vs Crossfield, where Crossfield had 200K youtube subscribers and Shiels had 50K. Sheils now has almost 700K and Crossfield hasn't reached 300K. It was for the same reason. Crossfield changed format... and appeared to "give up", while Shiels pushed and expanded. Thoughts?
  10. As a video game programmer who has worked on a golf video game (for consoles) before, I can tell you that the most fun PC golf game out there is ShotOnline. Free to play. May not have the best graphics, but I would recommend it. Unfortunately there is no money in making a PC golf game. The market is just to small to justify the huge expense. Golf is a declining business, and the golf video game market has totally collapsed.
  11. Now if the were really smart, that would have made it so that the weight screwed in. That way you could change the cap, and sell the grips and weights separately.
