  1. I basically picked up a club as a kid and taught myself. Took a few lessons growing up but it was ingrained in me.... by that point the instructors just went with it. I’ve since learned from a few other instructors a lot of kids may pick up the club that way but typically either switch or are told to switch to conventional. I will say though, from what I’ve also heard, including below in this thread, seems like crosshanded hitters can hit it out there. Its not the first time I’ve heard from others that fact. I’ve never met anyone else thats like me in this regard though, would love to one da
  2. Hello fellow spies! I’m a 4 handicap, crosshanded golfer throughout the bag, from putter all the way up to driver. Curious to see if anyone else plays that way and who, if anyone, they’ve received instruction from. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. Adam - Massachusetts Tour velvet - standard Would love to try the Tour Velvet Align grips out!!
  4. Wanted to post a follow up on this post I made about a month ago. See below some in hand pics of my new RTX 4's. They're very durable and are beginning to rust nicely! They do have a really nice, authentic look to them. It looks like an old friend you've had in your bag forever, but packed with all of today's best tech. These have truly impressed. So glad to have been able to test these babies out. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Last month, I was one of the lucky few to get my hands on the brand new Cleveland RTX4 wedges. They surely have not disappointed! Full review below including in hand photos of the wedges in the tour raw finish. Looks: let me first start this review by just saying how awesome these new wedges look. For full disclosure, I have never had any Cleveland wedges in the bag before. I'd grown up with the original Nike Vr forged wedges that had a heel grind very similar to that of the Taylor Made milled grinds these days. In essence, they were the standard grind that came on most wedges back in

  7. So I'm currently gaming a 56 and 60 mack daddy tour grind. Standard off the rack clubs i got for a good deal. I love opening the face and manipulating it around the green, but at the same time, on full swings I occasionally get a bit steep. I find the tour grind tends to dig a bit, especially the 60, but I dont want to give up the creativity I have with the wedges around the green. I'm looking into the SM6 and Mack Daddy Forged. Probably some kind of M and S grind combo. I did notice that vokey had a high bounce M grind and a v grind on their wedgeworks page. Anyone tried any of those
  8. So I'm clearly new to MGS, getting used to using the new app! I'm been an avid golfer literally my whole life. The 97 Masters really got me hooked on the game. I'm a self-taught cross handed player from Boston MA and can't wait to hear from and talk golf. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
