  1. Kyle from Statesville, NC 38 yrs old Hdcp 4.8 Currently play a Hogan combo set 4-6 Ft. Worth hi; 7-PW Ft. Worth 15; TK wedges in 48*, 52*, 56*, and 60* All with KBS C-Taper I love the Hogan story and the brand. My clubs were built just before the company restructuring and I am thrilled that they are back and seem to be making a solid run! Would LOVE to see how the DBM version with the subtle design changes stack up against my gamers. Another awesome opportunity from MGS and Ben Hogan Golf! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. Tier 1: Dustin Johnson Tier 2: Matt Kuchar Tier 3: Tony Finau Tier 4: Brendan Steele Tier 5: Emiliano Grillo Winning score: -6 Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. Gotta say the Titleist Velocity is near the top of my list. They seem to find me whenever I am hunting in the trees. Each time I think it can't possibly be as bad as I remember and it always is. Amen to the countless votes for Nitros and anything TF (minus the Gamer maybe). Classic cases of getting what you pay for! I miss the old TP Reds and the original Pentas. 4. This is the exact setup in my bag now. 20 - 44* Ft. Worth 15 and 48 - 60* TKs, 4* gapping all the way through. Just remember to kick something out if you are going to play 2 fairways with a driver and putter [emoji12]. That all adds up to 15 clubs methinks. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Great gig. I started 6 years ago as a marshall and driving range attendant. Marshalling was no bueno - inside the ropes, but your job is to have your back to the action. Laser crew is great. And I agree - caddie/player interaction is something we don't get much of on television. I enjoy hearing how different teams will breakdown the same shot from my post in the fairway. Those of us that have volunteered in the past at Wells Fargo got first crack at the PGA Championship jobs last year. That was a very cool experience. Looking forward to next week! And my name remains on the walking scorer waitlist! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Cnosil - Walking scorer is the holy grail of tournament volunteering! Congrats on that. For the past 5 years I have been on the laser crew shooting distances for shotlink. Assignments can be in the fairways or on the greens. I will be on holes 7 and 12 at Quail Hollow this year. Hoping maybe Phil will send one my way and have to cough up a glove! 7. Still loving my Tk15s in 48, 52, 56, and 60 so I will pass on this one. However, I will be an interested observer with an eye on future upgrades! Can't say enough good things about the Ft. Worth 15s and TKs - thrilled to see Hogan presenting another offering and giving MGS the chance to review! Good luck to the entrants. Really looking forward to this one! 8. Can't wait! I'm volunteering at the Wells Fargo Thursday and Saturday. Hoping Tiger makes some noise on the weekend! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Ugghhh. Against my better judgement (and the advice of many here), I tuned in last night. So bad. TopGolf is better suited for beers with friends than a legitimate tv show meant to showcase golfer skill. What was wrong with Big Break? I don't know the ratings numbers, but I watched every episode. It was my go to DVR material (prior to four daughters who have since filled it up with all manner of Disney princess movies). I found Big Break was, the majority of the time, an interesting test of shotmaking in a variety of formats. If it ain't broke... Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  11. Very cool read! That is the stuff dreams are made of for sure - what an extraordinary opportunity. And to have the guts and good spirit to share that scorecard publicly! Probably a decent score given the course setup on Monday. I heard Rickie Fowler comment during the tournament coverage that if the average weekend hacker started every hole from the center of the green, he wouldn't break 80. Ouch. Loved the article - thanks for sharing! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. Really interesting thoughts here. You guys have planted me firmly on the fence on this one. Which, after reading all this, I think is the right place to be. GolfSpy Meyer and revkev - point well taken about the stage 1 bios. I do like the idea that members can pick and choose those reviews they feel may be most applicable to their own game - fitted clubs or not. I've also learned not to take for granted the fact that I have a number of trusted fitters within one hour of my home! Thanks for all the feedback! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Congrats all! Really interested to see how this one shakes out. Can't wait to read some reviews! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  14. For sure - I was thinking more along the lines of defining what might be an adequate fitting by a reputable, independent source. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  15. Make no mistake - I thoroughly enjoy reading reviews and hearing others' feedback, regardless of whether or not they were fitted. And I will continue to do so! It's just a thought that had been nagging me. I recognize the point about the vast majority of golfers choosing OTR clubs. I'm just not convinced that same majority is represented on this forum. But I have been wrong before and likely will be again. Thanks for sharing the thoughts. Keep em coming. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
