  1. I will occasionally play music on the course (couples tournaments that are going to be 5 hours or so) but will ask my partners first. Definitely only loud enough for us to hear, not even one fairway over. The game of golf has evolved to where too many people have no respect for the game, the course or others on it. Really enjoy hearing Mother Natures sounds too like the birds chirping and frogs that are now croaking in our ponds and bushes.
  2. I bought a PRGR during Covid to use while speed training. Truthfully don't use it much as I play too often and don't practice enough. When I was using it, it really did help to see my progress in speed.
  3. My course also has lousy traps. For our typical "mens" events we allow raking and placing however sometimes after heavy rains we post in local rules to place ball behind bunker no closer to hole. Hopefully our new greenskeeper this year will have these as a priority.
  4. Recently played in a "money" scramble that has changed its rule on this. Originally it listed in the rules that first in counted so you had to mark every putt. They changed the rule a couple years ago to speed up play that allowed tap ins but the following players still could putt. As others have stated the key is it needs to be in the written rules so everyone is on the same page.
  5. Best I've done is about 3 1/2 rounds on a single ball but if I can feel a blemish of any sort I'll retire it then to my range bag. Remember the MGS testing last year where a blemish can cost up to 40 yds. After reading that I now retire then sooner !
  6. My original ER 3 is 385 grams but I was told by an Evnroll rep that they felt that was too heavy and were no longer making heads that weight. When I purchased an ER 7CS I could only get it with a 370 g head. (Bought the mallett once it was available as they only originally had blades). Took me awhile to get used to the lighter head and even put lead weights on it for a month or so but now use at 370g.
