  1. Do Not go to Club Champion. They try real hard to fit you into a driver head that is one of the most expensive, plus all the data is from a Trackman, which they can manipulate. I bought a driver and shaft, but when I actually took it to the range and course it did not perform well at all. Went back for a second fitting and changed to a different driver head and shaft, gosh it was cheaper. It has been over two months and I have yet to receive my new driver. Numerous calls to Club Champion have gotten me nowhere. First, don't go to Club Champion because they will try to put you into a club which I'm sure they make the biggest commission on. Second, don't trust Trackman because they can manipulate the data. Third, don't buy if you can't actually hit the driver outside.
  2. Got fit for a driver but felt they were pushing a certain product. Took my driver to the range and it was 15 to 20 yards shorter and not as straight. Haven't hit that many bad shots in a long time. Didn't want to let me hit last year's Cobra. Going back for a refitting and won't let them talk me into anything.
  3. You can play round with this injury, or you can actually deal with it. A steroid injection may heal it but it's still a steroid. Find a doctor who has experience with shock wave therapy or do a PRP treatment. Most anything else is a frustrating waste of time. Rest may help, if you do nothing for a year.
