  1. Finally got some decent weather! I was playing the BX and comparing it to the tp5. The Bridgestone BX was consistently longer than the TP5. I felt the Tp5 was spinny of the driver and the Bridgestone was much more penetrating. Bridgestone off my wedges and irons felt solid, but it’s nothing spectacular, just felt like a good solid golf ball. The greens I was playing on were punched, so im not gonna put much stock in the way the ball performed on the green or with putting. Bridgestone compared to the Tp5 were very similar, they even feel similar on the putting green. In my opinion the BX was overall a little less spinny from tee to green then the TP5 ill be comparing the Bridgestone with the prov1x next if you made it this far… you’re awesome
  2. Got a round in with the new mindset ball. It feels great off the driver and irons. It was gusting up to 30mph so I’m not going to blame the ball for anything. Getting back out this week, wind should be down quite a bit. I do like incorporating the identify, visualize and focus to my pre shot routine.
  3. I’ve been thinking of the Pxg irons because I loved the driver fitting, and I tend to stay away from the game improvement stuff just because I don’t like catching a short iron with no spin and it flying 15 yards to far. I’m not a blade player anymore but I do need something with spin. Most likely need a combo set, my long irons are not what they used to be lol
  4. I’m basically just wanting to make sure I’m playing the best clubs for me. The z forged are very solid, I just don’t want to be missing out on anything I guess. I switched from CB irons because I kept catching flyers and air mailing greens from 160 with 9irons.
  5. My entire set up is from 2019/2020, so I am looking at pretty much everything. I am currently looking into getting fit for fairway woods (only clubs I haven’t been fit for) new putter is probably coming soon, unfortunately I change those more frequently then the seasons. Any ways, putter fitting/ iron fitting/ fairway wood fitting are all in the near future
  6. At the moment, no issues because of the arrow that comes off the circles. It also lets me kind of react to the putt as well because it’s not a straight line. Sometimes I worry too much about the line on the ball. Plus I like that it’s not sharpie so it doesn’t smudge lol
  7. I have been using the dots and arrow as an alignment aid while putting and I kinda like it. I’m working it into my pre shot routine and trying to get used to the process on all my other shots
  8. I have the Rapsodo mlm 2 pro and I do really like it. I have a set up in the back yard and I do have some connectivity issues. But all in all I think it’s an accurate unit and is a lot of fun. If I had a bigger bank account I would go GCquad but the Rapsodo is really solid
  9. Hello MGS friends, So when is it time-ish for new irons? I got fitted for Srixon z forged irons back in 2019 and I have played them since. What should I look for when testing new irons? Should I be more concerned with shafts? Or should I just be looking at spin numbers and ball speed? also, when does an iron start losing performance?
  10. When testing putters or any new clubs for that matter (if I’m hitting into a net) I bring my own ball and test my ball on the greens or on the simulator. I usually hit a put to a hole just to see the break, then I just hit putts seeing if I can hit my spots. I definitely am a tinkerer so apparently I haven’t found a putter that will stick in my bag
  11. Let the testing begin!!! I have played Bridgestone balls on and off for a while now. I used to play the e6 when I was in highshool but that was probably because of price lol. I find myself going back and forth between golf balls. I currently play the AVX (I do not like the ball but I have had my best rounds with it) putting around with the mindset ball, I do like the feel. It’s not clicky and it’s not overly soft. Excited to get this ball on the course
  12. Just got the Qi10ls and also picked up some SM9 wedges, looking forward to my next round! the rest of my bag is Srixon z forged irons, sim 5&3 wood
  13. I wish I did! I’d love to get into fitting or teaching, I just don’t know how to get started! I’ve been in this crazy game for 23 years and I have been able to share my knowledge and experience with tons of different people and watching them light up when they learn a different shot or start hitting it better after moving some driver weights around is a much better feeling to me then playing well!
  14. This is going to be a great opportunity! So excited to put the Bridgestone mindset ball to the test!
