  4. I think it could be JT or Speith. If Jordan keeps playing like he did on Sunday and does it again at another major he has to take the number 1 spot. Winning 4 majors in the last 3 years would just unreal. His major record is already unreal but adding another and maybe completing the slam before Rory would be unbelievable. If Jt wins another one and bags another tour win he'd be a worthy number 1 as well and would start to show signs that he can match Jordan and Rory on the big stage (majors is what I mean by that). Both fun players to watch. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Congrats everyone. Great picks! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Going to a titleist demo day tomorrow. Seeing what would fit me best. Hopefully the ap3s. Demo them today and loved the feel and performance on flushed hits. Also tried the p770s. Wasn't as consistent with them but when I hit flush they flew so high with no loss of distance. Hoping to get fitted for both and see which one performs best. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  7. Anyone try out the Taylormade p-770s really thinking about pulling the trigger on these later this summer. Just spend a good bit on a beach vacation so delaying getting any new clubs for now Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  9. Played incredibly terrible except for off the tee which was a huge surprise. Hit every tee shot pretty middle with some drawing just a little bit but kept either chunking my approach shots or just miscalculating the yardage and flying greens. Putting was ehh. Still getting use to the new putter and the stroke I have to make with it. Enjoyed the day out on the course either way though! Irons: Standard length and Lie Driver: 10.5 regular flex standard length Putter: ER5 35' RH NC 20HCP
  10. Been using hole 19 and 18 birdies. Both seem to work well. Hole 19 is a bit simpler to use but 18 birdies provides more info. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  11. Practice all full iron shots throughout the bag to practice approaching pins. Also practice tee shots since this is what I consider my biggest weakness. Getting better but not at the consistency I would like off the tee. Really struggling with feeling comfortable with my set up and starting and finishing my swing. Practice putting as well but need to find a stroke that fits me more. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  12. The ability to get up and down from anywhere and save par. It's seriously amazing and gets over looked so much Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  16. Been gaming the burnersoft Taylormade Ball. Feels identical to last years project (a) and performances just as well. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  17. I would love to get some ap3s. I have a mix of mostly game improvement irons but do have some Nike pro forged irons with stiff flex shafts and love the feel and performance off it. I think the ap3 would still provide that forgiveness but looks so much nicer than game improvement irons so I would love to game those. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  18. A couple of random pics from the other weekend at Charlotte National Golf Club. Great little public course with some fun bunkering and mounds in fairways and some great par 3s. Fun course not to long but water and woods come in play on some big misses. Irons: Standard length and Lie Driver: 10.5 regular flex standard length Putter: ER5 35' RH NC 20HCP
  19. 1. Andres North Carolina 2. A mix between mostly topflite beginner irons with some Pre-Owned Nike and Callaway irons in the longer irons as well as Callaway 3W and titleist sm 5 wedges. EVN Roll Er5 putter and Taylormade Project a ball. 3. 28 handicap. 4. To consistently break 90 and be more consistent off the tee since right now that's where I get into the most trouble with a big hook or straight left shot on mis-hits. As well improve chipping around the green and putts 6ft or longer. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  20. Anyone tried the Ap3s yet? Would love to try these and maybe get them! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  23. I have seen people post their first round of the year in another topic but I wanted to start this one with a longer goal in mine. Let's post every round you play with your score and some stats and let's how much we can improve together. Also with your post add some things you were focusing on during the round or what you were trying to improve on in the round. So the round ill start with is the nine hole round I played this past weekend. I shot a a 48 so 13 over par at this course. It's a course in NC called green meadows. It's a fairly easy course with no holes too long but also no real fairways. There are no bunkers and water comes into play only on a couple holes and are easily avoidable I was pretty happy with my score because I wanted to work on my shots off the tee and approach shots. By approach I don't really mean accuracy or GIRs because I hit no GIRs but ball striking. I have been struggling with fat shots lately and after a few drills I got from videos the problem has gone away. I didn't hit any fat shots or thins. My yardage was actually pretty good I finished pin high on a few holes but to the left or right of the green. My putting has gotten worse thought lately. I think it's because I am still adjusting to a new putter that is a little heavier than my previous one. Going forward I am going to practice more putting to get a better feel of the putter and practice my chipping more. I'm leaving myself from way to far of putts from my chipping which is hurting my score. Anyways sorry for the length of the post but post your latest round and what you're trying to improve on. Let's all document our progress this year together! Irons: Standard length and Lie Driver: 10.5 regular flex standard length Putter: ER5 35' RH NC 20HCP
  24. Hey everyone. Just wanted to post this real quick as maybe a small warning. At my local golf galaxy they had a sale for Taylormade burner soft golf balls. 2 dozen for 35 dollars. The sales associate let me try them out for 2-3 hits to try them out and they felt pretty good and a little softer than the project a that I am using. I took them to the range yesterday to work on my pitching. No more than ten yard chips and pitches. After maybe 5 or 6 hits the balls started scuffing already. To some that may not matter but when thinking about it I don't think a single ball will last a full round of full shots. Anyone else have experience with this ball? Irons: Standard length and Lie Driver: 10.5 regular flex standard length Putter: ER5 35' RH NC 20HCP
