Here in Pinehurst, NC the public courses average anywhere from $ 45. to 150. depending on the quality of the course. You pretty much get what you pay for with some exceptions. Of course those rates are inflated this year because of the Open coming !

I carry a dozen, different colors and brands for different courses and conditions. I also carry two or three not so good balls for the cheapskates I play with that spend all day looking for their ball

Haven’t used a 3 or 5 wood in 15 years , after driver I go 3 and 4 hybrid. Yes maybe I gave up a few yards but there is less chance of getting off plane with the shorter shafts of the hybrids.
