  1. HI, Used Arccos since inception. And added Link when it was introduced. I have to edit a lot of putts. I putt from off greens a lot. Plus my putts are slow and even thru stroke so sound/stroke often does not get picked up. I also tend to sweep my fairway shots which leads to missed shots. Therefore Arccos is telling me to hit down on the ball. Step one in improving game. Notwithstanding that I chip a lot with my 8 or 9 irons, I find that my yardages are accurate. I do have a gapping problem at 5/6 that has resisted being fixed. Could be age related. Arccos system will show more benefit if you play a lot of different courses. Better shot planning. Link system allows me to leave phone in cradle on cart. Easier to edit shot on the fly. I have lost Link on course a few times and beenable to drive back to spot and find it by walking so spot identified in locate my Link app. Link has been run over by cart when I lost it once but still works even with a cracked shell. Basically same cost as quality rangefinder but lot more benefits. Arccos
  2. I typically do 3 golf trips per year. I check top 100 public course on national listing to see if there are any must plays. I will look at course architect - you know what to expect on a Stanley Thompson, Robert Trent Jones, Nicklaus or Palmer courses. Palm Springs is a desert the architect is what makes the course. I look for variety and challenge. Plus you get what you pay for, a $25 course is probably not going to be as rewarding as a $100 course. I have played a lot of courses where I hated it first time but later rounds were better (show me a person who liked Chambers Bay on first go around). Go to Bandon Dunes 6 course all on one spot easy to plan.
  3. I use Arccos with android without data. Never used V2 (watches too small for old eyes). Phone is in front pocket so you grab it when you need to otherwise it stays there. Nobody has mention this but Arccos has tremendous support and response. In 18 months I have used it from new user & through upgrades they have always been there quickly to help with suggestions and fixes.
  4. I have had Arccos 360 system for 18 months. 266 rounds, 30+ different courses. I leave it in my pocket and do not adjust or play with it during round. Typically I may miss about 3 strokes in a round which I edit after round. Great when you go to different course as you get the layout and distances. I know my club distances and where the gapping problems are (fixing them is another issue). On golf trips I will play 2 rounds a day and my phone still has charge on phone at end of day I just lost first sensor (Arccos is sending replacement free of charge). YOU WILL NEVER FIND ANY COMPANY THAT IS AS RESPONSIVE TO CUSTOMER PROBLEMS & RESOLVING - in my opinion. I had since original android app release through updates and system weeks. I usually got response and suggested fixes within a couple of hours At this point system has cost about $1 per round and going down. When you consider that we all probably lose $10 worth of golf balls in a round it is a bargain. If you are a serious golfer and want a GPS course mapping system anyways - this has all the bonus data too.
