I recently purchased some new grips on eBay and took them to Edwin Watts in Destin Florida. The installer said they smelled funny and guess what they were fake   I guess this people will go to any length to sell fakes. I tossed them in trash can

Played with a guy yesterday that had a Ping counterfeit 410. Initially I though he had a 425 since the 'Alta' shaft was a different color and the head definitely looked like a Ping but it had a crazy hollow sound.  When I asked him, he said no it was a China knockoff 410 and that he won't pay $500 for a driver. Hmmm what do you say to a guy that contributes to the counterfeit problem.
