I'm looking at getting a new set of irons this summer. I've been playing with an old set of TaylorMade Burners for the last 12+ years. Handicap is about 18 and interested to hear what you all have to say for the best recommendation for an upgrade. Thanks

Hey, I'm Mike and live in the Northern Bay Area in California. Been playing for about 20 years, but never as consistently as I'd like. I'm sure most of us could say we'd prefer to be on the course more often. My game is pretty average, but looking forward to upgrade my gear this year for my birthday. Happy to be a part of this forum and looking forward to hearing about other people's experiences out there.

2. What’s your handicap or normal score? 18

3. What do you love about golf? Relaxing, challenging, and a time to spend with the guys at times.

4. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I heard about it from a buddy, so yes.

5. Where are you from? What is your home course? Northern Bay Area, Sonoma County

6. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? The rounds can be a little slow at times. The weather allows to be able to play almost year round.
