Introduction
PXG’s Allan Putter introduces innovative technology aimed at helping golfers achieve greater stability and control on the greens. Featuring Zero Torque Balance Technology, the putter is designed to minimize face twisting during the stroke, helping to keep the putter face square at impact. This technology is beneficial for all stroke types, making it versatile for golfers of varying skill levels. The putter also boasts an S-hosel design for enhanced balance, a Pyramid Face Pattern to improve roll consistency, and a convenient Pick Up Pocket for easy ball retrieval on the green.

Key Features:

  • Zero Torque Balance Technology: Reduces the twisting of the putter face during the stroke, promoting more consistent, square impacts.
  • S-hosel Design: Aligns the shaft above the center of gravity, further enhancing stability and reducing the tendency for the putter face to open or close during the stroke.
  • Pyramid Face Pattern: A uniquely milled face pattern designed to improve the interaction between the putter and the ball, providing better distance control and a smoother roll.
  • Pick Up Pocket: A thoughtful design feature that allows golfers to pick up the ball easily without bending over.

I was fitted for PXG clubs last year, and I bought  a complete set. Irons have a great feel to them, currently using a Battle Ready RH Bat Attack - Black      Would love to compare the difference between the two!

Is it just me or has pxg changed significantly since its early days. It no seems to release new products as frequently as the others and the groundbreaking innovations that once set PXG apart now appear to be lacking. (Or just the advertisement of groundbreaking innovations)

Hi-This testing opportunity was literally made for me and my putting struggles.  I would love to be selected as a tester for the Allan and would provide a fair evaluation.

I have about 6 putters I practice with, including a very heavy PXG Gunboat mallet with moderate toe hang that I was fitted for and bought.  Distance control is my biggest problem there.  The ball coming off the PXG diamond face feels and sounds great, but I can’t seem to get any consistency using it.  I tried lighter weight plugs, but that made things worse.  I will cycle through that plus an old MG Anser-style with a bunch of lead tape behind the face (the sound and feel is improved for me) and also my old heel-shafted Wilson 8813 that I grew up with.  I also switch to an old Wilson Harmonized putter (don’t remember the model), a small mallet with a polymer face insert that I like the feel of, but am very inconsistent with. I also use a couple face balanced mallets that I made/milled from super-dense wood with 3-D printed polycarbonate or milled aluminum face inserts.  All my putters have great alignment aids on top, as does the Allen, and all feel good, but I can’t seem to find “the one” that actually works for me above the others.  The Allan could be that putter, but PXG doesn’t have a loaner or try-before-buy option that I know of.  I live near and visit a PXG store, stopping in several times a year to try-out their different putters on their indoor green, but I simply can’t be dropping several hundred bucks each to try-out new flat sticks on the course, and indoor results don’t seem to correlate well to a real green.

Purchased a full set of Black Ops last year, but at the time their putters didn’t feel great in my hands so I kept to my Rossi.  I would be interest to see if it has the same game changing effects of my new clubs.

Really, really want in on this one.  Love the idea of zero torque, really have a hard time with the looks and costs of a LAB putter.

A zero torque putter that looks cool? I'm sold!

I am really excited about PXG in general, but love the looks and technology behind this putter. I am a 8 handicap but have as of yet found a putter that gives me confidence. The alignment marking on this putter intrigues me. That combined with zero torque makes me think this would build that confidence. Would love to test and report on it.

This putter really got my attention and have been watching reviews for a week or so. My putting has been all over the place and would love to give it a try.

Another great testing opportunity… this is one I actually feel really qualified to do. I keep drivers in the bag for 7-10 years, irons for 5-6 years, and wedges until the grooves are gone… putters are a different story. I think I have 7 in the shed out back that range from an old forged blade Tommy Armour, to a Taylormade spider tour. I spend a lot of time working on my putting, and I love tinkering!

14 yr old 8.9 handicapper. I've been looking for a new putter and I'm truly curious about this one. I've never really considered pxg but this putter looks really appealing.

Whoa!  Competition for LAB Golf!!?!  As much as I have been interested in LAB putters, I just don’t like the look of them.  That said, this looks like a normal putter will all the same technology!  So excited for this trial!  Would love to be a tester as putting is one of my favorite parts of the game!
