  1. One downside to living in the country is the nearest driving range is almost an hour away. That range charges $15 per hour and you have to take a cart up to the driving range once you get there, it is a pain. A good thing about living in the country is having enough room to put my own driving range in at my house it is not perfect but it is very nice to be able to hit every club in the bag and never have to leave the house. The tree in the distance is 280 yards and I have yardage makers at 100, 150, 175 and 200 yards.
  2. Stock shot carry averages: Driver - 240 5 wood - 215 7 wood - 200 5 hybrid - 185 6 hybrid - 175 7 iron - 160 8 iron - 150 9 iron - 140 PW - 125 A- 115 54* - 100 58* - 80
  3. Golf Pride CP2 Pro mid-size, has been my go-to grip for several years. I have never tried the "Geko" product mentioned above but a little warm water with some Dawn in it and a scrub brush will revive grips and make them like new.
  4. 1. How long have you been playing golf? What's your handicap or normal score? I started playing golf in 1982 but took a 10 year break from the game from 2000 to 2010. Current handicap is 12. 2. What do you love about golf? Being outside and the feeling of a well struck ball. 3. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other spies? I have followed the Most Wanted for years and decided to check out the forum. I do not know any other spies? 4. Where are you from? What is your home course? I am from Flatwoods, West Virginia and my home course is The Palmer Course at Stonewall Resort. 5. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Best thing: Mountains and great views Worst thing: 45 minute drive to nearest course 6. What do you do for a living? I am Director of Agency Relations for Mountaineer Food Bank. We are a private non-profit organization that is dedicated to feeding West Virginia's hungry. 7. How'd you pick your user name? Combo of my name and home state.
