  1. Most likely wedges. But the irons need regripped soon too. Driver is a free agent these days too… but I think the problem is me on that one…. Otherwise, I’m thinking about that Blue Tees speaker with gps.
  2. I’ve had an R10 for years. It is fun but I realized how inaccurate it is once I opened my indoor golf business and bought Trackman.
  3. I own Swing Space Golf in Columbus, OH. I get to play when I want and give lessons/clinics when I’m not doing my day job. It’s a lot of work but I love every minute!
  4. It’s the club you use the most, plus it’s a statement club. Get the one that works for you and makes you happy to own. I love my Evnroll.
  5. There's a course just east of Columbus, OH called Racoon International. It's build on an old Owen's Corning site. They are restricted from doing any digging due to what is buried underneath the ground. The clubhouse is an absolute dump. Bathrooms are terrible. You better just squat in the woods.... The course itself is actually a good layout, but the condition is typically dreadful. Saying all that, my buddies and I always have a blast because we know what to expect.
  6. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I was introduced by an old handicapped patient of my mom’s when I was 8 and have been hooked for 32 straight years. Arccos says I’m a 12.5. I’ve been as low as a 9 and high as a 17, all around injuries and a back surgery. Just played Harbor Town twice last weekend in VERY windy conditions and shot 91 and 89. I’ll take it. What do you love about golf? I love the feeling of a great swing and center strike of a driver, the pure feeling I get on a great strike on my Mizuno irons… I love that you can never walk away completely satisfied. There’s always something to improve, just like in life. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I love golf equipment and research. I do not know any spies, yet. Where are you from? What is your home course? I live in the burbs on the east side of Columbus, OH. I’d consider Blacklick Woods my home course but I have a handful around me I play regularly. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Best, diversity on the course. I love seeing people from every background and culture playing this game. Worst, despite having a lot of courses it’s still packed and hard to get a tee time, which has also driven up green fees. What do you do for a living? I’m an engineer for a clinical chemistry diagnostic company. Basically a mechanic for hospital lab equipment. How’d you pick your user name? It’s just my name. Boring.
