  1. I write RH but eat more often LH. Golf only RH but can putt LH. However realized at 12 I swing a bat much better LH. Archery either side. Marksmanship was better RH but better than average LH and well no1 likes brass in their face. Also for martial arts and boxing also more comfortable LH stance. Dr told my mom when I was kid that I probably was LH but right eye dominant so just do everything RH because it will be easier for me to adapt and learn.
  2. Oh you're a day walker! Those hybrid ambidextrous folks... I come from a long line of LH men in my family. Brother, dad, uncle, and Grand dad all LH. Some how I came out as ambidextrous. But golf and writing is all RH. So I'll make an exception for you! I may or may not have a brand new LH Rogue ST triple diamond 9° head lying around with no home right now.
  3. Well the follow Dodge guy will say black. The Chevy guy will go with the color. The Ford guy won't know what to say because his clubs are still in the shop. And the Toyota guy will ask why aren't they Miuras? Personally go with the black, not because of the color but they are shorter and look cleaner.
  4. Simple, don't! That's amateur status. Plausible deniability. OR if you must just make sure the mothers day gift you get her in 2 weeks costs more than the bag.
  5. Not gonna lie at first glance you had me there for a second thinking that was ment for something else other than a glove retainer!
  6. Been playing these in the midsize since they came out. Over 40 rounds in and with just a little routine maintenance with soap and water they look almost brand new still. Perfect combination of not too soft and traction IMO.
  7. Atleast LAB doesn't discriminate against lefties. They screw everyone and make them all wait 6 weeks!
  8. Yes and some have gotten out of hand. The courses that the PGA tour uses around here can be $315 a round for a Saturday morning in season. I can play it for $40 in the heat of summer. I spend $30-90 for a round. But in season those prices are $120-280 for the extact same courses I play.
  9. It really is. Just hit 10 of 14 FW on Sunday. And 2 of the misses were in the first cut of rough and an unlucky bounce in a FW bunker, no barely offline. The 1 shot I really missed and was headed OB hit a tree and stayed in play and got it back in the FW on a Par 5. By the 16th I had one of my playing partners asking to use it thr last few holes.
  10. Congrats! One of my fitters is a retired LtComm. Something about Navy guys and golf. You will love that garmin. They are great watches, not just for golf.
  11. The Super Hybrid line from Callaway is criminally underrated. But that's due to the hefty price tags. Carried two different versions in my bag for a while. The 2HY and 3HY are get FW replacement options. The #4 you got there is a cross between a 3iron and 7w... it just works.
  12. Well now you know! But great example like I said, the 10K seems to be the max version of the LST and some won't see a difference. Got to love the ball speeds being identical! And higher spin and launch is what I would expect compared to the LST.
  13. I mean it's probably a good thing. They would probably just get in the way! Or be very distracting.
  14. Only complaint is we have to wait another year for the next one! Congrats Scottie. Guess Vegas was right!
  15. Cleveland wedges are on 2 year rotations for their lines. The CBX full face came out last year with the new RTX6, while the CBX4 is out this year with the RTX full face2. All the tech that is now in the CBX4 is everything that came out in last years wedges. Hydroblast, rougher face, upgraded utilizip and zipcore. The full face also obviously has more grooves with a high toe and allows for more surface area for more contact. Also the full face 2 have 12° bounce in all models 54-60 with a C sole grind that takes material out of the heel and toe areas to make them more versatile round the greens. Also if you open the face, that great surface area on the face just adds to its forgiveness. The CBX has a bounce of 14° in the 54 and 56 and 12° in the 60. The 54 and 56 also have a S sole grind while the 58 and 60 is a C grind. The differences are not major, however since you are getting a 56 and 60 the added size and forgiveness of the Fullface2 with all the same tech as the CBX4 means you gain nothing picking the newer model. The stock shafts will be the biggest difference. DG and Catalyst spinner shafts in the FF2 and KBS hi-rev and ust wedge shafts in the CBX4.
  16. All I heard was whatever golf clubs you want.... as you try and explain the $5000 new bag. Also as a huge proponent of Cleveland cbx wedges for most amateurs, i play them myself. I highly recommend considering the CBX full face 2 in 56 and 60 instead of CBX 4.
  17. 2v2 Scramble today. 2nd hole hit a near perfect drive cutting the corner on a slight dog leg left. Partner is a notorious hooker(sorry I couldn't resist) and had a case of the rights today. 2nd shot into a tucked green surrounded by waterfall and stream down the leftside and cutting across the front, leading into a lake that goes up the front right on the green. Front flag with not much room for error. Partner shanks a wedge into the lake. My 2nd shot comes up short and although it barely cleared the mouth of the stream, it rolled back into the water. We drop where my ball last crossed in some light rough at the end of the fairway. We are about 40 yards from a front flag and have to clear the stream and weeds, with limited landing space between the front of the green and the pin. Partner hits a ok shot and puts us maybe 15ft away for a decent putt. Did my normal routine for chipping and tried to get a feel of the turf inaction. Clipped it clean with perfect feel and saw it was headed straight at the flag. While in the air, I heard the other team who was on the green say that looks good as it came down. "Click". Slam dunk. Straight into the hole between the front of the cup and pin. Pin didn't even move. I was in shock for a moment because I saw it come down but when the ball just disappeared I froze. My partners cheering snapped me out of it. Other team was just as thrilled. We have seen hole outs but never a such a clean dunk. Long hole out of my life. The scorecard reads par but how we got there made it even sweeter. FIR, 2nd shots into water, drop and chip in, no putts. Shot of the day and shot of my life.
  18. Well I went with it and it looks pretty good! Golf gods gave me mixed signals though! Slam dunked a chip over water, nothing but bottom of the cup, flag stick didnt even move from 40yd out. Craziest shot ive ever made, on the 2nd hole. BUT we lost the scramble with the driver getting a little squirlly the last 4 holes.
  19. I used to get boxes of Callaway CS X LS tru track for a ridiculous price until they stopped making them! I switched over to Srixon Z-Stars & the XVs which I get personalized for a even more ridiculous price. I don't have to hunt for lost balls or bargain shop anymore. Between mainly Srixon with some Callaway and Titleist, I got atleast 12 plus boxes of balls now.
  20. LoL I did the same thing. I played Bridgestone balls for my first couple of years of playing. They make a great ball. If I could get them cheaper I would probably still be playing them.
  21. Well there's money on this one. 2v2 scramble every spring and summer, best of 5 rounds. So need to come out the gate strong. No irons and wedges were put into the bag last may when they came out. Only driver and 2 hybrids, all of which are just upgrades over previous models. Bag is set and probably not going to change for a while. We'll until one of my reps gives me something too good to pass up.
  22. We shall find out tomorrow, when I put everything into play. Lucky it's a scramble so my partner can carry us if the golf gods take issue with me.
  23. Cough... late summer... cough... New driver... cough Not 10k.
