  1. Played ProV1 because it delivered same day via Amazon
  2. Picked up a dozen ProV1 and no surprise, the increased driver distance was expected, but the increase in the irons was a welcomed surprise.
  3. I've been rolling with a 30-40 year old Ping Answer 2 since I first started playing golf about 20 years ago. Reading some of the recent most wanted articles and in particular the test vs the old Titleist putter it feels like there may be some value in upgrading (especially seeing the 2 strokes gained). I'm curious from anyone who went from an oldie but goodie to something new, what was your upgrade and how are you liking it?
  4. I try to hit ~20 balls before each round. That plus stretching out the back before heading out to the course has shaved a couple strokes off per round. Especially in the first few holes.
  5. Kirkland 3 piece - lose too many But in the market for a replacement when the last two dozen are gone.
  6. Anyone interested in playing a round somewhere in Southern California in June? Could be anything from San Diego to the Inland Empire.
  7. +1 vote for lessons as the starting point. That should get your score into the 50's --short game in particular can pay huge dividends in scoring by getting rid of 3 putts and reducing errors while chipping. After that, I'd upgrade the oldest item in your bag with something a couple years old and/or used. Example, you have a 10 year old driver, find something 3ish years old. Golf gets even more fun when you start to break 50 regularly.
