  1. I agree with previous posts, slow play is my biggest pet peeve! When both guys ride to each ball and wait to hit as opposed to each golfer going to their ball. Writing the score greenside instead of at the next tee irks me as well!
  2. I feel you!!! I bought a set of Callaway Apex 19 (new). Didn't immediately by covers and they are beat up as result. They're forged, ergo soft metal. Big mistake!!!!
  3. It’s easy to admit my biases. Titleist golf balls are my balls of choice. ProV1x in particular. Have played other Titleist balls and are familiar with the supposed characteristics. Always felt my swing was so inconsistent that my equipment needs as much consistency as possible. Until 2019 my irons were always Ping along with my putter. Switched to Callaway Apex 19s. Very pleased with the Callaway’s. My putter is still a very old Ping Answer which is performing well and I see no reason to switch. Recently started playing Callaway Chrome Soft Triple Track ball on par 3s. When it comes to drivers, fairway woods and hybrids, currently playing TaylorMade driver and 3 wood. I still carry a Callaway X Hot 5 wood for now. The one hybrid I have is an Adams Idea or whatever works at moment. My Titleist Vokey wedge and Ping pitching wedge round out my bag! All in all, I pretty much stick to these 4 brands. What I have works and unless exposed to something else that blows me away, don’t see myself changing. Since I’m not looking to change anything its unlikely another brand will get a chance at the bag!
  4. My Idea Hybrid is always in jeopardy! My Rocketballz 3 wood, is only good off the tee on short par fours. If I find something easier to hit its gone!! Obviously I'm not very good with Fairway woods! Looking for replacements. My Rocketballz driver is great. My Callaway Apex Irons are irreplaceable! My old Ping Answer Putter is virtually irreplaceable! Always looking to improve. Always looking for help. Will get new TaylorMade Stealth 2 driver, fairway wood and hybrid [on the house] soon! Hope abounds!
  5. Showing up at the course with the putter at home in the basement several times over the years. Glad to see I’m not alone! The good karma of practicing my putting goes out window with with the foul language and stress of sprinting home or renting/borrowing a putter. This seems worse than all the others!!!
  6. My early days were filled with an inability to hit a driver. Callaway Big Bertha broke that streak. By happenstance I hit my buddy’s TaylorMade driver and been with the brand every since. Currently playing Rocketballz, soon to be upgraded to Stealth2. Callaway and Pings irons have filled my bag. Had some early success with Tour Edge woods but have moved on. Titleist equipment viewed favorably, but too expensive for my taste, which also rules out PXG. Wilson, Mizuno, Srixon and others don’t have much chance of making my bag. I am a dedicated Titleist ProV1x player however.
  7. As a guess, I would say about 6 rounds. Don’t lose balls very often. Will take ball out of play because of scuff marks. I also find balls and clean them up. Generally end up removing balls from my bag because I have too many!
