  1. I think $400-$450 is the max for me. It’s not logical to keep paying these higher prices that are already inflated.
  2. I generally use spikeless and recently purchased a pair of code chaos Adidas. They are spikeless but have an aggressive tread pattern that provides a lot of grip. They are also the most comfortable golf shoes I have ever worn.
  3. Big fan of music in the course. I have multiple speakers from small and subtle to a turtle box with a microphone for beer scrambles. Use your judgement on decibel level and have a good time.
  4. Both are solid choices. I think I saw the biggest difference of any clubs purchased recently when I replaced my wedges with some Vokies SM9s that were last years model. Never had shots that stop on the green like this.
  5. I started with a Garmin R10 and it was a pleasant enough experience, but I wanted to upgrade to something a bit more professional. The next monitor was the Full Swing Kit. This unit seemed to be quite accurate at the range, but it was still early days so the net performance was still getting dialed in. I kind of felt like a beta tester; which wasn’t great at that price point. My net and mat were in the back yard (due to space requirements for the radar) so everything needed to be set up and taken down on each use. Ultimately I sold the Full Swing Kit and switched to a photometric unit with the Bushnell Launch Pro. I had avoided this due to the subscription costs, but ended up going this route because the unit received such high marks and is reliable enough to use the metrics to work on my swing. The data and performance is rock solid. I ended up getting a screen for for my Spornia XL8 net and can now hit in the garage with the smaller footprint. -Bushnell Launch Pro - GsPro and FSX Play Software -Spornia XL8 with their projection screen -Viewsonic PX748 4k projector -MSI Raider gaming laptop
  6. Have you tried the eye mini? It’s really interesting especially with the $1000 price break.
  7. I follow the LM market somewhat closely and this is the first I have heard on that’s one. Will definitely do some research.
  8. I think the cheapest launch monitor that is garnering fair reviews is the MLM2 pro. Something else to consider is picking up a second hand unit. I have Bushnell Launch Pros going for around $2k used. Breaking 80 does some good LM reviews/comparisons: let’s play through also has helpful information
  9. Has anyone had an opportunity to try the Kirkland Gen 2 wedges? I have read reviews that the first Gen was ok, but wanted to see if anyone had real world experience? At $170 they are almost 3 for 1 pricing. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
