  1. So upon further wedge testing I am in agreement with @ronnieg. My 56* Vokey was really chewing into the covers on the balls. This was another test from 20-30 yards out and chips from the fringe. The cover just doesn’t seem to hold up.
  2. Good Morning MGS! Boring start to the day here entering production and waiting for a delivery truck but I’ve been swinging some clubs I snagged for $7 at good will trying to get my irons figured out . Going to hit the practice green again today at lunch and continue the approach testing of the TP5. Then track meet this evening for my 8th grader. Finger crossed his relay team qualifies for the state invitational, we should find out this week! Have a good one all!
  3. Uh so I probably snagging the Death Star one and maybe the Falcon as well!
  4. I’ll have to tee a scuffed ball up with a fresh one and see if there’s a difference between the 2
  5. Good morning MGS! Currently build a spreadsheet to track fiber optic light levels for a build we have going, and let me tell you it’s less than thrilling. I made it to the range yesterday and it went meh. I was tired when I got there and me and the swing never seemed to sync up. However the practice green was a different story altogether. I spent about an hour on it and managed to have a great session with chips pitches and flops! The TP5 is really performing quite well there and that was an are I wanted to test thoroughly. Have a great day everyone!
  6. Covers are holding up pretty well there are some scuffs from dirt on my wedge but nothing that I feel would mess with playability for me
  7. Went to the range yesterday and while the range see ion wasn’t the best I spent an hour on the practice green here are the a few of the results. Ball really does perform well around the green. IMG_6887.mov IMG_6890.mov IMG_6888.mov
  8. Love Homa’s but I have always liked watching Jim Furyk
  9. Good afternoon MGS! Well finished masters fantasy in the top 15% so that’s solid to start! Trying a new swing move keeping the weight on my left side. I’ve transferred for as long as I can remember and my contact and timing have been inconsistent so we will see how it goes after the range today. Just working 60, PW 9, and 7 irons today. If all goes well will transition into 3h 5 wood BRNR mini and driver later in the week. Have a great day and hit em long and straight if you get out today!
  10. Morning MGS! Wet again today but might try to hit some pitch and chips at the practice free at the range. Tee time for Sunday hopefully they don’t close due to rain this week, but if they do I’ll watch the masters from the couch instead of on my phone. We were going to try for Saturday but my 8th grader is in for 2 events at the track and field invitational and to be honest I’m way more excited to watch him run than play! Hit em straight and long if you get out this weekend!
  11. Just snagged 3 kids passes that will let my 3 that golf now with me for free the whole season! $30 a pass wasn’t bad when it’s 37 for 18 and a cart!
  12. I find that the good days are when I don’t lose a ball, better days are when my 12 and 14 yr olds don’t lose any, and best when we come plus a couple they find in the trees
  13. I’m also noticing that my wedges are staring to bite into the cover on mine as well. Plan on heating those specifically this weekend off the tee with the driver and 5 wood alongside a fresh sleeve to see if there is a performance difference in flight and distance.
  14. More green side testing and the TP5 continues to shine! Flops, when I can hit them, are landing and stopping good for me. Coming from Kirkland Signature these balls are crushing it. The alignment aids are definitely helping me stay down by giving me a focal point on all shots. Should get another round in with them this weekend.
  15. Good morning MGS! Masters first round today! Hoping Fowler breaks through this week and snaps the Par 3 Jinx! Love that he is going after it with that outlook. Raining here today but clearing up for the weekend gonna try and get out for at least 9. Have a great day all
  16. Congrats dude! I saw that and wanted to click enter so bad but my wife may have had a different opinion
  17. I would say go hit a demo of the mini. I did last year at Golf Galaxy and it told me that it was a good option for me! Love it and it’s still in my bag.
  18. Definitely agree the 24 BRNR HC is far and away better than the 23 HC
  19. As an owner of the 23 BRNR you’ve made a great choice and I find that it is fit nicely when my Radspeed was being stubborn. I have it on the upright side of the sleeve but lofted up to 13.5 and did it incredibly easy to hit baby fades with and it’s just cool
  20. Here’s a few from our neck of the woods
