  1. Finally feels like the game is turning around this season. After a rough first 10 or so rounds to the season, I was able to play Tuesday and Wednesday. First round on Tuesday was a full 18. Shot an 8 with 2 doubles so some things to still clean up but overall a good round. Also felt good to stick an 8 iron to 3 feet on my second shot into a par 5 for a tap in eagle. Wednesday was similar. Had two blow up holes on my 9 hole match but was able to win and shot a 41. Closing in on move frequent rounds in the 70s.
  2. Just ordered the Rhapsodo MLM 2, and now the anxious waiting game begins . Hopefully with three kids under 5 this will allow me to keep practicing and "playing" golf without the time commitment of heading to the course. Anyone else have experience (positive or negative with the MLM 2)?
  3. Played 18 with little bro and pops at Glen Annie GC in Southern California. It was great to be back with the gang and the game was trending in the right direction. Ended with an 85 but carded a couple birdies. Still working on getting the penalty average under 1 per round, but encouraged by how the round went.
  4. Date 04/19/2023 Course Name Table Mountain Golf Club Gross Score 87 Course Handicap 8 Gross Strokes over/under par 15 Net Score to Par 7 Net Score 79 Net Birdies or better 4 Longest Drive 0
  5. Played 9 holes with my father in law yesterday. Finally beautiful weather and I shot a sloppy 42. Was striking the ball well, but my short game let me down. Feeling confident since that will come around with more reps. Glad that golf season is finally back!
  6. Played last week for the first time this season. We've had an uncommonly wet season so the course was damp and overgrown. Everything was slow, but it felt good to be back out there. Only played 9 holes and shot a disappointing 43 over 9 holes. As expected short game and putting were suspect at best, but I was encouraged by how I hit the ball off the tee and approach to the green. Looking forward to getting back out there this week.
