I hate not being able to hit some balls before a round. Need to be able to make some good clean contact and make sure the draw is working.

I typically keep a new ball until I have a pretty definitive scuff mark. I’ve played a whole round a few times with the same ball and shot in the high 70s low 80s. Sometimes I’ll switch the ball if I see it fly funny or act differently than how the shot felt. But in most cases I keep the lucky ball until I lose or it’s damaged.

How many brands are in your bag?
BadAsp replied to StrokerAce's topic in Introduce Yourself/ WIYB (What's In Your Bag)
I usually try sticking with one brand but when I switched to the rsi taylormade irons about 9 years ago, I didn’t like their wedges so I stayed with Vokey. Not married to Taylormade but I really do like their drivers and woods. About time to do some shopping so clubs. Hoping I get picked for the Cobra testing -
In the very early stages of looking at irons. I went from original AP2’s to the Taylormade RSI’s that I have now. Funny enough I have been considering the cobra irons and I jumped to the chance to be a tester. Also looking at Taylormade 790’s.

Since spikeless came out, I was hooked! They are generally more comfortable. They grip well but have enough give for your feet to turn (which I like) and they are much more friendlier to the putting surfaces! Currently have some Jordan ADG 3’s
