Your approach reminds me of a practice routine my buddy and I used to do years ago. We would play 18 holes, and then play a special 10-hole round where we picked challenging spots to chip or pitch from, keeping score to 25. It also was a blast, especially when we had to deal with obstacles like trees, bushes, or uneven lies. We even threw in some creative challenges like calling a specific club to use at any time, huh.
