  1. I’m looking for some help. I found this at a garage sale and picked it up. I Can’t find much out there on it. Fluent T300. Another forum mentioned it but no solid information. Is it a prototype Futura or a knock off? The build quality is very good for being a knock off it’s definitely CNC milled and even tho being beat up it’s good quality work is it rare?is it fake? what is it?
  2. Thanks for the informative reply. Unfortunately I don’t have regular access to a launch monitor, when I do it’s at a big box store where I find I don’t swing naturally (I feel rushed etc). I’m more looking for if anyone else finds that 1 inch really makes a huge difference. I’m not a professional I golf for fun but I like seeing if I can maximize my performance. If only picking up 3-5 yards is the difference I’ll save some money and keep my current shaft. Swigging as hard as I can without any consequences is different then when I’m on the course and thinking about shot shape, hazards etc.
  3. I’m definitely a guy that needs to feel the driver not just see numbers on a launch monitor. I’m not really wanting to spend a couple hundred dollars on a new shaft just for it to not perform. I’ll definitely do some research hopefully it helps!
  4. Talking driver shafts today. I personally play a HZRDUS Silver gen 4 that’s cut to 44”. I really like the control it gives me and I get good distance. Average 265 which for me is great. I can swing harder but the ball is anywhere but straight. I’ve heard from a lot of people that my shafts “too short” and I’m “loosing distance” I was fitted for a 45” shaft but I found I couldn’t find the fairway.I read online that if I wanted control to try a shorter shaft. That’s when I seen the Hzrdus silver and gave it a shot. Now my swing has definitely improved so I’m wondering if a longer shaft will actually do anything for me. Being realistic 265 average is good for me. I'm not a professional but I would like to see 280 more frequently. So the question is how long is your shaft? Have you trialled different lengths? Is this something I should try?Does 1 inch really make a difference when it comes to performance?
  5. Closet I’ve been to a hole in One! It was a 130 Yard Par 3. It’s a local course I like to play when I’m not looking to keep score. I know the course well and it’s a good challenge between tight fairways, and water, but it’s easy to get out of trouble all around fun course just to get out and golf. I hit pitching wedge in dead online. I said to my buddy well the ball was in flight. “It’s right at it” it landed about a foot away bounced up hit the pin and landed again a foot away. I walked away with birdie and a smile on my face. Another hole that reminds me why I love golf
  6. I’m looking forward to seeing how this stack up to the competition! Congrats everyone!
  7. Follow up Post: After close consideration and being in the right place at the right time I’ve settled with my new vessel VLX stand bag. This thing is awesome! I absolutely love the material on the outside it’s like a marine leather it really looks sharp! It has pretty much everything I was looking for. the built quality is amazing and it’s super lightweight. The only thing I HATE! The 7 inch opening. Now I understand that vessel sells other models with larger openings, but I had a good deal on this bag I couldn’t pass up. Tbh a 7x7 opening is pretty much the smallest playable opening on a golf bag. I get that vessel markets this bag as the ultimate carry bag, and it really performs in the aspect it is ergonomic, lightweight, and comfortable. But for someone who uses midsize grips and has 4 clubs with head covers it’s super annoying when atleast once per hole I have to adjust my clubs for all of them to fit nicely. In the end I’m happy with my purchase it’s an amazing bag, just has size issues like the best of us!
  8. I recently switched to the Bridgestone Tour B XS from a TP5. I liked the feel of the TP5 but I found it spun up a bit to much for me on my drives. I swing on average around 101mph. The Bridgestone ball helps with my drives and has the same if not more feel and spin around the greens. It took me a little to get used to off the putter it’s very nice but definitely a noticeable difference from the TP5. Overall I’m super happy with my change I took back that distance that I was losing off the Tee and have great performance around the green. With the price of the Bridgestone balls being a couple bucks cheaper then other companies it’s an easy choice for me
  9. I think it’s all about feel. I’m 6’ and play a 44” driver with standard length irons. I find the shorter driver helps with control but does give up distance. But I have to stop chasing distance If the club works. Go with what feels best, not with what “the on paper” suggests. If something feels good and it works for you that’s what it’s about!
  10. Tbh I love Arccos. I think the stats and the distance really helps my game along with the gps. I’ve used other GPS apps in the past and I find them not as in depth as Arccos. The down side Arccos is EXPENSIVE. I understand that they give you a lot of product but why does everything in golf have to be expensive! Also I hate they give you no warning when your membership is about to renew I’ve had to ask for my money back this past year when the membership renewed in the middle of winter (here in Canada no golf is played from October to March) overall Grade for Arccos=B overall a decent service, but price and unethical business practices has me staying away
  11. Glad I found this thread, I’ve been rocking a Callaway Chev stand bag for the past few years. It was the first bag I bought after really getting into golf. I definitely like the bag but it could be better. The legs recently broke and I’m in the market for a new one. I’m considering a vintage bag from the 90s I think that would be cool and fit my style. But I’m also thinking it might functionally be better if I had a new bag. Maybe something premium like a tour stand bag. I mostly use a push cart or carry my bag so I like the size and weight of a stand bag. Things I like about my current bag: 5 way divider top Simple set up I don’t need a 14 way divider cooler pocket to keep drinks cold Ball compartment holds a box+ of balls for those bad days. Dislikes: Not a lot of extra space for coat, towels, snacks etc The quality of the bag, I’ve only owned the thing for a few years never been hard on it and now it’s broken Things I’m looking for: To spend around $300 magnetic ball pouch would be cool velvet top is a nice touch A little extra room for snacks! 5-7 way divider top I like the aesthetic of the “tour” bags Any recommendations would help Thanks
