I have a Clicgear XL cup holder attached to my Clicgear 3.0 for the last 4 years. I us it to hold a 40oz water bottle that's diameter measures 3 1/2 inches (standard aluminum can 2 1/2 inches). No problems at all with getting the bottle in and out of the holder for me and no issues with cracking or braking to this point. I see the XL having no issues holding a larger coffee tumbler or anything maybe up to 3 3/4-ish inches in diameter. Works great for me!

You might want to try looking at Nettex.net or give them a call about possible size options if you can't find one on the website.
