Yes it’s one of my favorite road trips

I am 63 but have not shot a 63 yet , but i did have a 31 on one side just 3 weeks ago , possible by a long eagle putt on a par 5 and the short par 4 hole afterwards that is 315 yards , drove the green and and had a 8 footer for eagle but missed and had the kick in birdie ,all I can do is keep trying ! My best round ever was a 68 at Arrowhead Pointe in Elberton, Georgia.

I agree if he is not in contention treat him like all the others that are at +5 on Friday too , because no one really gives a s*** about what he is doing at that point .

Sergio is probably one of my least favorites too only behind Patrick Cantlay. Speaking of the LIV, there is nothing that they do that remotely interest me into watching any of their tournaments. I mean seriously none of their golf is noteworthy and nothing to look forward to as a major or a players championship. It honestly looks boring and I think Greg Norman doesn’t bring anything of value to it either .

Patrick Cantlay, he is slow but wait til you see him in person! My God , he looks like he is dragging his feet on purpose while walking and just a nonchalant attitude about anything in life .

love the “ Round belly “ league

I’m working a tournament today and after they all get off , I’m going to go practice some iron shots off some of the vacant holes . Working on 3/4 shots , draws and fades hopefully.

Yes, I'm trying to whittle my cap back down to around +1 to 1 , in order to compete in the same type of league at my home course, as well. The match play that I mentioned earlier is an event sponsored by our course. I made it to the last four men (semi finals) last year and hope to take it all the way this year. we have four different men's leagues ( one being the scratch league), that I'm trying to navigate too. So that leaves me having to pick and choose which to play in. Anyway, good luck in the future!

I always have two sleeves, that will generally last me over a month or so. My usual schedule for playing is, Monday ,Wednesday and Friday and record about (15) rounds a month.

The game of golf truly mirrors our lives!

One minute you are on top of the world and then boom .....lol

Sorry to hear that , we are starting up out match play event next weekend and I am having to give 10 strokes to start with , if I could fine tune my irons before then I’ll feel very confident in a victory in my first match . The tee ball is fantastic , putter and chipping have really come around with the Bermuda growing in . I’m excited to start out with confidence and a great feeling . One of my playing partners won the whole match event last year and we typically feed off one another .

Be very liberal with mineral spirits ( odorless if possible ) and if you don’t have a catch pan for the run off , a paint tray works very well to recycle the spirits back into the container . This is a personal thing with me but when I have removed the old grip and tape , I prefer to use acetone to clean off all of the residues and left over strands of tape back down to the raw shaft and get a good surface to reapply two sided tape to .
