A tale of two very different rounds. I’m a 15.5, played a short 18 holes course with a slope of 100 I think, on Saturday. Nothing felt correct and was a struggle. Ended with a 97. Yesterday played my normal course with a slope rating of 128 and I shot an 84. I even called it after the Saturday round that I’d shot low 80’s on Sunday. Finally got to play my new vokey Sm9 54 degree. Felt great and my prov1x ball checked when needed. Wish the rest of my game felt good today. Oh well we all have off days but at least I felt comfortable with my new club. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like my 2019 p790’s. I’m starting to look at next year upgrading. Not sure if I’ll stick to 790’s or something else. Only a good fitting and personal feel will tell what I’ll use next year.

Bought one off the shelf vokey 58. Ordered a 48 and 54 vokey. Sad the 54 was delayed and not delivered yesterday. Excited to hit it this coming up week.

Had my best round so far in my 13 months of really golfing. Missed a birdie putt by two inches to finish with a round of 80 @ the par 70 Tapps Island. 9 hole course with two flags/ one green and two tee boxes each hole. Guy in my group hit is tee shot from blue tees into white hole on the par 3 #7 ( hole in one but not really). Back nine I knock my tee shot from the white tees just above the blue flag hole and it spins backwards, hits the blue flag stick with just enough spin to not go in. Almost two wrong flag hole in ones in the same round.
