I've been using my Garmin S62 for about a year and a half now. I got it when I started getting serious about golf, and I've played 50 rounds of 18 holes with it, gathering a bunch of data along the way. It's been super useful for me during games. I tried using a rangefinder, but taking it on and off the golf cart was just annoying. Garmin watches have a lot of great features, though they have some downsides too, like their user interface and experience, both on the watch and the app. My current Garmin has been solid, but I'm really interested in checking out the new Shot Scope V5 to see how it stacks up.

It will be cool to see those irons tested! Whether to combo length or the single length. Also curious to see how were the Bettinardi Irons set performs. Olson Putter maybe?

52-08 Vokey SM4 56-12 Vokey SM9 60-12 Vokey SM9 The wedges have served me well as a beginner golfer. Was thinking in the future to change my 52 degrees to 50 degrees perhaps. My Pitching wedge is 45 degrees currently and do find the gapping was too wide. Also somehow still find that in my full swing of 56 and 60 degree wedges, distances are pretty much the same. I believe that is because of my technique for sure.

Hi All! Gareth here from Singapore! 1. How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? Started during the year 2021. Only gotten serious since the beginning of 2023. Took some lessons with Singapore's local Golftec and now with another local golf coach. I consider myself a super high handicapper and usually score 100-110. The best score was 93, it was a month ago. 2. What do you love about golf? Many things that I love about golf. I love to spend time at range or on the course, the period that I working on my swing or enjoying the course is my only me time and it helps me to focus on one thing at a time. I love the recent golf apparel trend though I could not afford all of them. I love to watch pros playing and have a lot of fun walking the course during the tournaments. Golf has also brought me to meet a lot of people that I would not have possibly socialized with before. 3. What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? Currently resident in Singapore. My home course is at Daiman 18, Johor, Malaysia. 5. What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? Sad to say, Singapore is not a pocket-friendly place for Golf. Usually playing a round at a public course costs you around SGD 150 ( Which is about USD 110. But the good thing is I can just cross the bridge to Johor, Malaysia to play a weekend round that much cheaper. 6. What do you do for a living? I am an interior design consultant. Working under a local architectural design studio. 7. How’d you pick your user name? Nothing special. It just my English name with Surname.
