  1. Where are the best public courses to play in or around Cincinatti? Thanks!
  2. We're going to be traveling down I-81 so anywhere along that route would work!
  3. Hey Fellow Spies, At the end of April, two buddies and I will be taking a road trip to Nashville, TN from CT. We're trying to make the most of our trip by hitting at least 2-3 courses over the course of a week. One leg of the trip we will be traveling through Pennsylvania, and the other leg will be through western Virginia. Just looking for feedback about must play public courses that may be along the way. All feedback is appreciated! Thanks!

  5. Thanks for the opportunity to play a different ball, I more than likely wouldn't have played. I currently play Titleist AVX's generally, sometimes I play the Pro V1. I started playing more competitive golf over the last two seasons and have really tried a few different golf balls. In my bag I swing Ping i500 irons, vokey wedges (50,54,58), and a Ping G series driver (although I just bought the Cobra LTDx LS 9* driver). Last season I started the year off by taking advantage of Vice's golf ball sale, buy 5 get 1 free and I decided to play their newer ball the Pro Zero. Overall it was ok, and I really didn't give it much thought until later on in the season when I was playing much better. One day I switched from the Pro Zeros to the AVX and every shot I took i was flying the ball a minimum of 10 yards further than with the pro zero and at first i was scratching my head like "what am I doing differently?" Then i finally put two and two together and realized "Ah this is why they get $55/dozen". Since then, I've steadily used AVX's and Pro V1's and was sure to hop on their preseason deal of buy 3 get 1 free. So in due time, I am looking forward to testing these balls out. As a side note, I am unfamiliar with the term VCT (for testing purposes) can someone explain to me? I do own a Garmin R10 Approach which I was going to use to analyze the differences between the AVX and the Bridgestone balls. But if someone would be kind enough to explain the parameters of VCT, that'd be great. Happy testing!
  6. Congrats testers! The M7 is awesome and I'm a firm believer if you're able to walk the course it makes you a better golfer than riding in the golf cart. I love mine, the ONLY feature that I feel like Motocaddy missed the boat on is the follow me feature. I was conflicted between the Axglo E3 or E5 models as they seemed comparable and had that feature, but after reading reviews and watching countless demo videos I decided on the M7 for its stability. The Axglo models have 4 wheels, but unlike the MGI and Motocaddy models there was no rear stabilizer, which was very important for me as I play majority hilly courses. Enjoy!
  7. Just got the M7 remote and I couldn't recommend it enough. Its been great so far, and I play hilly courses.
  8. The Majors will probably still get the same if not more views I imagine, as the sport continues to grow interest. One problem I feel golf has (aside from tour split) is the fact that its a daytime sport, so most people are busy with their lives during the day. If golf shifted to compete in the primetime space, I think viewership would go up. Obviously some adjustments would need to be made, like finding courses with lights, but night golf or some version of it would be cool to see.
  9. Hey guys, new to the forums, I too am from CT, about 30 minutes or so away from CT National. I can confirm its condition is great (still early in season though). I would highly recommend playing, another course nearby thats always given praise is Raceway in Thompson, although I've never played it. My home course is Norwich, but i play a league at River Ridge as well.
