  1. I try to get out of the house as quickly as possible LOL I get there about 40 minutes before tee time which is enough time for a small bucket to warm up and some putting. I like to enjoy the day and not rush to the first tee.
  2. I probably carry about 12-18 golf balls. I may lose one on the course, but for the most part play a solid round. I usually carry 12 of the golf balls I play with (I flip flop between Vice, and Callaway) and 6 or so 'water balls'.
  3. These are pretty awesome and I am ordering some right now! I am a fan of Vice golf balls.
  4. Good morning fellow golfers, Happy Friday! Where is everyone playing this weekend? I am escaping with my wife for a staycation, but was able to play 9 yesterday. Had a decent round. I am still working on my driver swing, and yesterday had some good results. I also played with the Bridgestone RXS mindset golf balls and posted my review and videos in the Bridgestone forum chat. Have a great weekend, and hit 'em straight!
  5. I am wondering how the grip holds up in the rain. It seems it would slip and twist in the hands. I would be interested to test something like this and how comfortable the grip would be.
  6. Hey everyone, it's Mr. Bogey Pro and I just wanted to thank everyone for this amazing opportunity to test the new Bridgestone Mindset RXS golf ball. I love the new mindset alignment and the feel of the golf ball. Like many golf balls on the market (Callaway Triple Track, for example) it aids in aiming at your target. What separates this golf ball from the rest is that I found myself concentrating more on the green dot and nothing else. For me, it was a nice aid in keeping the head down. Next, it has a soft feel off of the driver and irons. Not a Supersoft or Soft Feel marshmallow feel, but soft when you hit it flush. You will see in the video I had a nice iron into the green (don't look at the swing) and hit it to a makable putt (missed of course)! This ball does have some spin to it on my chips. Once again, the feel of the ball is exactly what I was looking for. It has a soft touch and enough spin to check up and not run across the green. I am not a low-handicap player that can spin the ball back, but I did have some nice chips that stopped on the green. This ball is exactly what I like in a golf ball; a blend of feel and spin. Next is the putting. Once again, the mindset alignment aids in picking your target, keeping your head down, and sinking some putts. The ball had a nice feel off the club, and rolled beautifully to the hole. In terms of distance, I can't say it is the longest ball in its class. I will say I did hit some great drives that were about 250+ which was better than average for me. The ball does fly straighter than most other balls I have used such as the Vice Pro and Pro V 1. For the average player looking for distance and feel, I think this is a perfect option. I don't have many cons to this ball. The one I would say is when you hit your drive, the mindset alignment may not be visible for your next shot. But really there is not another ball with the alignment that has this (or at least I couldn't think of any). I would highly recommend this ball to anyone looking for distance, feel, spin, and to me, the best alignment aid on the market. 20240418_140331[1].mp4 20240418_140254[1].mp4 20240418_140117[1].mp4 20240418_113013[1].mp4 20240418_112928[1].mp4
  7. Congratulation testers! I am looking for forward to your reviews.
  8. I would love to be on Manolo Teaches Golf or Good Good Golf. It would be a blast to be on either.
  9. I couldn't really say I have a dream putter. I love the putter I use now, which is the Odyssey OG 7. My buddy used it the other day and really liked it as well. I would have to try different putters to see the differences.
  10. Thank you for sharing the videos. What an experience!
  11. Good morning, fellow golfers, I was able to take a day off from work yesterday and play 18 holes with my daughter at Sherman Hills Golf Course. I shot a +12. The exciting part about it was bombing my drives. I made a small change based on something I watched on YouTube by Danny Maude (keeping the elbows in), and it seemed to work. I was consistently over 260 and even had a drive of 294. Of course, playing from the reds was just outdriving me on many of the holes. So, she is grounded for the next 2 weeks LOL I also played with the Bridgestone RXS mindset. I will post my full review with videos, but it is a great ball! Have a great weekend, and hit 'em straight!
  12. I do love Max Homa's swing. I am also a fan of Adam Scott and Colin Morikawa. But the best swing of all time is Freddie Couple—just a perfect swing in my opinion.
  13. I wanted to update my previous post. After purchasing the Project X Evenflow Blue Shaft, the Ebay seller reached out and said he did not have that shaft no longer. He had offered either the Hzdrus Blue or Black shaft. After doing some research, I wasn't sure if those were the right shaft. I went ahead and purchased the Furijuka Ventus Blue 6-R shaft. It came in yesterday, and it is amazing! It has a smooth swing, penetrating ball flight, and tight dispersion, and I didn't feel like the club was twisting at impact.
