  1. Cool. The thing is, you can spend a FORTUNE chasing the right shaft around (experience speaking here..) and never find it. There are a ton of really good options out there. It sounds like you need something a little stiffer in the tip, and perhaps a touch stiffer than a stock S. You might be a candidate for tipping your current shaft if you like the feel, and seeing what the LM #'s are... Other possible options for reshafts are 1.) Diamana WhiteBoard in Stiff in the 60-70g range, depending on personal preference 2.) UST AxivCore Green in Stiff- same recommendation based on preference 3.) Graffaloy Blue?? discontinued-but really good at killing spin. 4.) Fubuki Tour 73 in X-stiff. This shaft is a great shaft for smoother swingers, ans does a really good job at reducing LA and Spin #'s. I have tons of other options if you need more. The most important thing to do is find someone that has a decent driver fitting system with lots of shafts, and go test them out. The Nike 360 fitting system is really good, and comes with several shaft options. Go to this link and enter your zip, and Nike will let you know who is close to you that has 360 fitting. Hope this helps N.
  2. Sorry for all of the questions, but I am trying to paint a picture in my mind of what is happening when you hit shots, as it will help me recommend a shaft or 2. Do you have a budget for this reshaft?? are you married to this head?? Would you consider a new driver if it gave you better launch conditions???
  3. Hi, and welcome. There has to be a better fit for you, as these LM #'s are no good. Too high LA, and too much spin. As you probably already know, a lot of shaft fitting has to do with tempo, desired ballflight, player tendencies, and other factors. There is no was that I can make a recommendation for you based on such limited info. A lower spinning and stiffer shaft might do the trick.....
  4. PLEASE STOP YELLING!!!!!!

Do we need to send someone to get the bent putter from the second fairway?

      I agree Nic.

  7. I somehow managed to shoot my age for 9 holes in league last week. Fwiw, that is not good. I can't remember hitting one solid shot all day. chalk it up to a weird week of sleeping in tents on the ground, and not enough beer. Better next week.
  8. Imagine my surprise when the Giant Mr Sta-Puft met me on the 18th green......
  9. That is great.. So today I played 18 with the boss and a former colleague at a local 9 hole par 35. I put the Seemore into play along with the new irons, and new driver. I managed to shoot a respectable 75 with 2 birdies and ZERO 3 putts!!!! I hope things continue along the same path.
  10. I am considering a long putter. and bowling.
  11. This weeks league score was a POS due to the Standard Amount of Crappy putting. Ball striking was really good, but the stupid putter was the same as before... no different. I hit 8 greens out of 9, and still shot 4 over, with one Bird. That means 4 3 putts, and one miss from 4 feet. Stupid game. I still haven't thrown my putter this year........ yet.
  12. nicely done sir... always good when it comes together.
  13. My last 2 mens league rounds have been very solid... for me. +1 32 2 weeks ago, and a -1 29 last week. I'm not quite sure what is going on, but I am not about to begin thinking about it...
  14. Ahhhhhhh golf. I love IT!!!!!! Did you happen to end up letting your putter or wedges go for a little flight???
  15. I am still waiting for my SeeMore to arrive. I need some putter love.
  16. Yesterday was one of the rare days in Oregon when the sun was out and my daughter was at school and I was not working so....... to the golf course I go. Strange round. I hit it like poo, chipped even worse, but didn't score too terribly. +5 for 18, with a triple on a short par 3. I did make an eagle on a really short par 4 though. 244 with a small green. (I know, its really a par 3, but on the card, it says 4). 15* hybrid to 12 feet, and made the putt. Someday I will put it all together.
  17. GET TO WORK>>>>> SLACKER

  18. Week 3 of my little league is in the books, and Results are getting better. One over par this week. 2 Bogies, and one bird. Putted well, and hit the ball really well. just can't seem to chip or pitch at all right now.... oh well. It's coming.
  19. I have a set on order... Should be 3-4 weeks. I'm drooling already. Those things are soooo gorgeous, I just worry about the finish, But with the limited schedule that I play, they should be fine.
  20. Where did you get one of these?? Out of the back of a certain car???
  21. My favorite 3 sets of blade all time for me have to be... 1) Mizuno MP 14 2) Cleveland TA 1 Gun Metal 3) Titleist 690.MB Copper Plated (I loved these...)
  22. What I can say is that in a perfect world, A slight toe up at address position will come back to a perfect sole contact position at impact. In the REAL world, this is not always the case. People have a tendency to manipulate their swings, and I have seen some doozies. Always check for flight first, then tape marks. Now, If your instructor has some other reason for having you drop your hands, then everything I have said is moot.
  23. I am more concerned with position at impact, and ball flight, than position at address. In the old days, toe a little in the air was how we fit for lie angle. Toe up at address was to allow a little toe droop during the swing. We now use a little more sophisticated technology for lie angle fitting....
