  1. That's exactly what I ended up doing on a Saturday morning after just "coming in to browse" lol... at the time I had a putter that was face balanced (0* of toe hang). But based on my stroke, ideally I'd have a putter with 30 degrees. Ended up buying a putter a few months later with 36* and am pretty happy with it.
  2. Just as an fyi, I've had a driver fitting, and a quick 15 minute "putting stroke" fitting at PGAS and they've both been great. Ended up buying the driver that I hit best, and eventually after finding a discount on a particular putter, ended up buying a putter that more closely matched what the fitting suggested.
  3. Good question and welcome! Ever since I figured out how to fix my slice, I now always do a practice take-away swing even if not a full swing, but I make sure that the club face matches my spine angle (45 degree angle basically) at my waist on the backswing. When I had the slice (many.....many......many years..) I guess I had it pointed straight up which I thought was the "right" way to do it.... definitely not. Ever since then, either dead straight, or a slight draw which as a former major slicer, is awesome.

After debating on buying this bag for a few months, amazon prime day rolled around and it went on sale to $179 from $220 so I pulled the trigger. I love this thing. LOTS of pockets, including a 6 or 7 can cooler pocket with a drain hole, 2 dry valuables pockets, and something that I didn't have before, the same pockets on both sides instead of on just one side like my old TM bag. It also has the "cart strap through thing" which I didn't realize how helpful it would be until now that I have it. Also, the brands main feature and claim to fame is the individual club organizer and they keep the clubs locked in place so they don't clang into each other while rocking around the course (they call it "t-lock 14 way divider"). Really nice to have and keeps your clubs safe from dings and scratches. I love this thing and have gotten quite a few compliments on it since I've bought it, from friends and strangers that I've played with. I would highly suggest if still shopping around.
  5. I'm noticing the Location under my and other peoples profiles is missing a colon and a space after. Something minor but as someone with ocd and as a test engineer... drives me nuts... lol... p.s. keep up the good work and love this site....
  6. One of my favs (when I can find it in stores) for heading to the course.... Bulleit Single Barrel.
  7. I like that light blue GPride grip.... might have to look for this with my next wedges grip replacement....
  8. Ah, I think that's the issue.... With bad settings, i'm unable to get those "remove" options. Even if I create new streams with the same name and valid stream options, it doesn't overwrite the bad ones.... hmpf....
  9. The last few times playing, I've noticed my milled grind (original) black 56* wedge just doesn't have the grip on the ball like it used to when I first got it. Looking around online, I saw an ad for these Hi-Toe 4 wedges and I am pretty sure I'm going to replace all my wedges with these after a proper wedge fitting/gap analysis fitting when they come out.... beautiful!!!
  10. Hello, I looked around the forum but couldn't find an answer for this. How do I delete custom streams that I've created? I think one of the settings I selected for the custom streams during creation causes a site error so I never get results back so I'd like to delete my custom streams that I created.
  11. Man that original Burner 2 wood brings me back to hs days and what I learned the game with.... love it. I do love the new mini burner driver, but I wish they would just go full out and make a new 460cc driver with the original copper head but with all the new specs and even a new copper burner headcover.... Guaranteed paycheck gone lol!
  12. While looking around online for a TPC Sawgrass polo after playing Dye's Valley last Dec., I came across this ball marker on ebay and had to pull the trigger. Received on Sat late afternoon, and was able to play with it Sunday. The ad advertised it as new and the seller mentioned it was "tour issued" with there only being one silver one and one gold one in existence so I bought the silver one. It's pretty big and definitely thicker than my normal ball mark so can't really use it if on someone else's line which I have another marker for but I really like it as it's a nice reminder of the round/vaca I got to experience last dec. Definitely a new fav ball marker. (same image and chiseled stamping on both sides)
  13. I'm definitely a FootJoy polo guy. I bought one at a course down in FL when visiting a friend last december and was hooked after how it felt and didn't show sweat when I finally wore it here in WI's humid summers. To compare, I splurged and did buy one Peter Millar at the Players when I went this past March, and FootJoy and PM have VERY similar stretchy, smooth feels to them. Both PM and FJ don't show sweat which is great for humid summer playing. PM however won with the trophy of most expensive polo I've ever bought though but it also reminds of a fun vaca with friends so I still love the shirt... I just don't wear it as much as I'm afraid to dirty it up.... lol...
  14. Glad someone asked about these. I bought my first pair of premieres from golf galaxy this past May and I honestly love them. I'm coming from a pair of the Adidas Tour360's last summer and although really comfy for playing in, if I was playing hilly terrain, the backs of my heals would get all rubbed up and almost bloodied after just a few holes. Not fun for the rest of the round. The premieres are legit comfy for walking and going up hills and I make sure these are what I wear when i'm not carting it. I even have an order in for a new pair of Premiere/MyJoys for next summer which you're able to customize to your liking. I figure my current pair will get worn out eventually, might as well have another back up pair ready or even to swap out once in awhile. Most comfy golf shoe I've ever owned.
  15. I'm definitely a watch guy and love wearing them off the course. But on the course, it's one of the first things that goes in my bag's dry pocket. I like not having something on my wrist while playing and honestly feels great not having to worry about time for a few hours in the day.
