Just bought the first set of irons since I bought my beginner Strata clubs back in 2015. Mizuno JPX Hot Metal 923 HL. MGS had them as the best game improvement iron for beginners so that gave me the confidence to hit the buy now button. 5-PW, AW for $630 after rush shipping so I can hit them Saturday while im playing a new course with the wife.

Hmm, mine is all automatic and I just set the pin through my apple watch when I walk onto the green. If someone has marked the pin that day, before you, then it automatically updates the pin location and doesnt prompt you to reset it. Im using the gen 2 sensors i think, club selection and shot detection is all automatic.

On mine it was automatically active, I didnt mess with settings. I am on iphone. The information icon says to "set the hole location or confirm your first putt distance". "Shots are tagged PGA TOUR Quality when your proximity to the hole is better than PGA TOUR average".

Shoot, Im not sure. Ive played five rounds and have gotten a total of 5 of these shots that it autosaves. Cool feature, reach out to arccos and see what they say. Theyll likely ask you to uninstall and reinstall the app to start things, knowing how IT goes.

Well got rained out all weekend so we decided to play 18 this afternoon in the drizzle. Sky cleared up after 3-4 holes and turned out to be the perfect weather. Shot a 97 which is decent for me. Apparently, on a few holes, I played like a pga pro.

Mine is called "Dick's Warehouse". I just went back again today, spent $35 and got 2 walter hagen 11 polos and a walter hagen hat. The labor day sale is still going on, if it has a 5 on it then its 30% more off. The hat I ordered off golf galaxy for pickup there, wish I had waited because it was actually $4 cheaper in store, I only paid $12.97 so I did bother with returning it and buying it again.

Nice, some of the deals looked a little higher than what I paid in my local clearance warehouse but some were definitely on par. Just ordered 2 WH hats for $23 from Golf Galaxy, picked up at my local warehouse.

I didn't see any golf shoes at mine, I only looked in my size. I would guess all of them are different based on what sales in your region and what sits on shelves a long time

I’m lucky enough to have a buddy with the same handicap as me. We both shot upper 90s last Saturday at our local public course. The positive is a hit more fairways this week after working on my drives. Averaged 230 yards off the tee box. Im a work in progress. I hit the range Sunday and I’ll be hitting the net this afternoon.

Good morning everyone. The wife and I are taking our first ever trip to Ireland in early November, 5 days in Dublin. Over the summer I got back into golfing pretty regularly (once a week with 1-3 driving range days per week). I am a high handicapper (~25) but would like to play at least once while I am in Dublin. I would need somewhere fairly close to where we are staying, ~15 mins from the guinness storehouse, since I will need public transportation or a taxi. If you have recommendations on which courses allow public players and would be fun to play then please let me know. I prefer to play solo with my wife caddying for the round since I am not great and pairing with random people is not the greatest. I understand if I will be forced to pair though. Also, any other recommendations of what to check out while we are there are welcome. Thank you.

Not sure if any of you have a Dick's Sporting Goods Warehouse near you but we have one in Macon, Ga and they have a lot of great deals on golf clothes. The cashier said if it doesnt sale at the main Dick's locations then they send them to these warehouses and significantly discount them. My haul today was: 2 pair walter hagen shorts 2 walter hagen polos 3 walter hagen pullovers (1 warm weather, 2 cold weather) Slippers for the wife All that was $100.90 They have a lot of other brands as well, like Under armor, puma, nike, and callaway. They have men/women/youth and shoes as well. This week anything with a "5" on it is an extra 30% off the lowest ticketed price. Just thought I would pass the deal along.

High handicap golfer looking to have fun with my friends and improve my handicap, would like to play local/regional tournaments one day. Current Clubs Strata Driver, 3 wood, 5 hybrid, 6i-PW Bombtech driving hybrid Bombtech 52, 56, 60 wedges Odyssey tri hot 5k 22 three putter I am slowly swapping clubs as I can. Waiting on a used driver to get delivered now, Callaway Epic Flash Sub Zero. I plant to hit my bag hard next year and get fitted for irons.

Macon, GA and currently play Bowden and Morgan Dairy golf courses the most 5. Tons of budget friendly courses in my area, not a lot of golf shops within 1hr of me. We have a Dicks in Macon and a Golf center in WR. Atlanta has a ton of options but I cant stand driving into Atlanta. 6. I work in ceiling tile manufacturing. 7. I have been nicknamed quadabaum and qbaum since I was a young teenager.

I am a pretty budget minded high handicap golfer at this stage in my game. Recently bought the odyssey tri hot 5k 22 three putter from Dicks for what seemed like a steal and just ordered a used callaway epic flash sub zero driver from Global Golf to give a shot. Currently shooting a full bag of strata clubs that I am slowly replacing piece by piece.

Are they not merging anymore? Just finished the Full Swing series and they talked about a merger. Regardless that will be an awesome match to follow.
