  1. See the answer from Allan in the link below. It makes a good point about how it could improve an amateurs consistency though not to Bryson's level. https://www.golf.com/the-knockdown/2018/09/07/who-will-replace-dj-as-number-one/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=facebook.com&utm_campaign=si.golf&xid=socialflow_facebook_golf+ Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. Definitely a huge fan of the movies already mentioned but an underrated classic that kills me is Semi-Tough. Such an awesome movie capturing that time period. Rest Easy Mr Reynolds. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  3. I could see new players, especially those learning the game as adults benefitting from the single length iron / single plane swing a lot. For those that have learned the game with a standard set, no matter how good or bad, I would think it would be a difficult transition, especially in the short game. I have personally have never hit single length irons for comparison and am very intrigued to a least try to see the difference. Do most use a two plane swing or try to use a single plane swing? Just an observation, but couldn't they narrow the fairways more, leave the rough the way it is and not absolutely bake out the greens. Some of the fairways are huge but it's impossible to hold a green. Feel like the challenge would be a bit more fair if you could hold the green from the fairway but it was really hard to hit the fairways. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  9. I'm looking for any thoughts or opinions from those that have hit or play the above irons as well as how they would compare to similar offerings from Callaway, Titlest, or mizuno. I'm a 12 and should be playing the most appropriate model for my handicap. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. I have taken lessons at Golftec for over a year. After having had lessons in group setting as well as with an individual pro, I liked the detailed focus on how to swing and the positions you should be in. By far the most helpful aspect to me is the live video during practice as the instant feedback helps with the feel vs real that you experience when making changes. It allows you to be able to check that you are implementing the correct changes to your swing without your instructor. I found the price to also be competitive with lessons at the courses near me. The indoor practice is also a bonus for those in colder winter climates or very hot summer climates. There is, however, no secret. It's good instruction with a lot of practice no matter where you choose to take lessons. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  15. 1. Have you purchased any golf products based on MyGolfSpy reviews? (Please list which ones.) I purchased my Callaway XR2 driver based on the performance test done the year it came out. I have also purchased the Snell and Vice golf balls. 2. How has MyGolfSpy changed the way you think about golf equipment? I appreciate the unbiased reviews of the equipment that help me determine what new technology is a gimmick or an item that will actually help my game. The testing done across a broad spectrum of golfers allows me to make a decision about a club using players of my abilities and swing speeds as opposed to a pros, whom I can never hope to match (not that I'm not trying). 3. Have these purchases lowered your scores? (List which products and how much they have lowered your scores.) No but I enjoy the game playing with them more. Golf lessons have lowered my scores and improved my game overall (but that is a whole other story). 4. How have these purchases helped you enjoy the game more? How? Yes. The drive was certainly an improvement over my previous driver (old TM 580). The balls have been great and I certainly enjoy the game a little bit more when I spend less money for certain items. A ball the plays similar to a ProV1 for half the cost a dozen makes me smile when i hit it and less upset when I lose it.
